Generally DMK has no principles except to oppose Jaya's stand and be on the right side of the Gandhis [Indira,Sonia,etc.] Unlike the Communists these regional parties dont have any baggage to carry and they act according to their self-interests.Karunanidhi is a pragmatist. He knows that his Enemy's Jaya's] Enemy [Sonia] is his Friend!
