Mamata or no Mamata, it was the comrades who misunderstood new economy and let loose a violent response in many states against new industrial policies. They are against SEZ in other states, they are the 'guardians' of farmers in other states. Why only in Bengal they need to be different? Communists are embarrassed that someone else is using their methods.
If Bengal is not 'industrialised' ask the people who rule Bengal for last 30 years. Not the Singur farmer or Mamata.
Learn lessons Comrades. Kindly do not do what Mamata is doing in Bengal in other states. India needs to grow - inspite of Mamata - and the Comrades.

Which communists are you talking and how you can say they are economists ? These are captilists and opportunists. just remember the old fox Jyothi Basu hw got married his grand daughter to Swaraj Paul who is a captilist in Britain. Man please realise in India the hard core Ideologists died much before Independence. Now we have mammon worshippers, hardcore criminals & opportunists, do you think these would care for the welfare of the people.
How low can she get? She is getting journalists beaten up, cops killed, innocent people harassed and the list is endless. These don't have the slightest of inkling as to what this whimsical lady is upto. I dearly love my state and want something to happen there...want my state to catch up with other states. Why doesn't she go to Gujarat and carry on the same agitation...she will get the message hopefully.
Sensible people of West Bengal are grateful to the Tata's and hope that Singur and surrounding areas will one day be a model Tata Nagar in WB. Mamta has a regressive mind and has no sense of reason or economics and stoops to low level politics. All through my education years spent in WB - we have spent in fear that I would have to walk back home since she has decided to stage a dharna or sleep on the road by spreading her saree. She and her cronies should be ignored.
Well I would only like to ask one question? Why is that every new venture of TATA's is marred by conttroversy. Obviously the reason is smth much more than what meets the eye. Well as of Singur let Mamta and her other co-part workers go and see Jamshedpur, the town built and maintained by the TATAs'. Given Mamta as much powr and time she would never be ever be ableto emulate what TATAs' do for the society and state in process of making a mark of their own in business. As of someone who should be going back it has to be Mamta.
W.Bengal people must thank Tata for setting up the factory.If there is any land issues it can be solved my discussions not like mamta way.She wants to do something to be in news.India should ignore politicians like mayavati,mata and jayalalitha

Mamta is now showing her true face in connivance with competitors of TATA by calling for their ouster from project.ratan Tata has already disclosed her true intentions. It is now for W Bengalgovt to deal with her the way she deserves.
