you are a nobody. Nobody gives a damn if you post messages that start fires between indians from different regions. Keep your mouth shut.
WHO WILL BE THE BENEFIT WITH TRIBUNAL VERDICT? ============================================== In the future, Karnataka will the the most badly hit by the Verdict, coz Karnataka will utilise water only 50% to Irrigation , but remaining 50% to DRINKING !! YOU CAN STOP IRRIGATION for some time, BUT , YOU CAN NOT STOP DRINKING WATER.
In My view, If Karnataka Will take proper Action, then Tamil Nadu will be the worst badly hit by the TWDT, How? According to TWDT, Karnataka have to release water 192 tmcft water in prescribed format in a year. If Karnataka builds more storage dams (not big, its small) through out the Cauvery Delta, Then We Can store As much as water in Rainy Season, Karnataka can store above 740 tmcft water in rainy season by constructing more small dams, But Karnataka must follow the Verdict by releasing only 192 tmcft water. Then Karnataka will be the more gaining state by the TWDT Verdict.
The Flow ========= Cauvery basin extends over an area of 87,900 sqkm which is nearly 2.7% of total geographical area of the country. The basin lies in the State of Karnataka ---36,240 sqkm Tamil Nadu-- 48,730 sqkm Kerala ----- 2,930 sqkm
When will be the Problem ======================== The Problem arises when drought will hit the south India, Karnataka Region is using water 50% on irrigation 50% Drinking water. Tamil Nadu 75% on Irrigation & 25% on Drinking Water.
Solution one ============ Cauvery water should proportionately allot the water on the basis of Flow of the water which is described as above. Karnataka ---36,240 sqkm ______ in Tamil Nadu-- 48,730 sqkm Kerala ----- 2,930 sqkm
Solution Two ============ Cauvery Water should allocate on the study research on water consumption and storage whole year and especially when drought will hit the states.
Permanent Solution ================== Permanent Solution will take some time, and need some money too. We have to build Two small dams one in the state of Karnataka, at beginig of cauvery flow after 50% distance of full flow of Cauvery after birth of place of Tala Cauvery where Cauvery will flow. and another one in Tamil Nadu, where The water Coming from the Karnataka will store immediately after its release in floods. If you are confusing, why two dams? here is the my answer. We have to plan especially when floods will hit the two states.
My point that we should store as much as water in rainy or floods seasons. WE ARE WASTING OUR FLOOD WATER BY DISSOLVING IT IN BENGAL SEA.
IF ANY SUPPORTS MY IDEA THEN PLEASE REPLY WITH YOUR COMMENTS AND VOTE FOR ME.

Tribunal has taken 17 years to give this verdict, why they have not called for public opinion that could have given them more ideas. At least now we should think about some constructive ideas like this to resolve the problem instead of fighting each other and let others use this situation.

feels like u have done good survey. it was very interesting to learn these facts. But for building dams u need more land, u might have to evacuate people and and lose irrigational land. And when it comes to leaving river water into sea, if that is not done proportionately, the salt of the sea will increase and affect the marine life. there is definitely a solution to these problems and i feel it is high time politicians stay out of it and solve it looking at the needs. defintely people like u should be allowed to suggest solutions and the water problem be solved amicably. Mr. President had also issued a solution of water problem by using rain water harvesting along the length of the road which was more that 20000kms. but dont know why he backed out of it. As u said not even 19% of rain water is being used efficiently. i dont know how far i am correct with these facts, correction is most welcome to these.

No need for this solution. When the tribunals with experts (Not from Karnataka & TN) sat , discussed, taken all the facts and figures, understood the needs of both the states , realising the sensitivity of the issue and finally delivers this verdict, I think we have to respect and if required apeal to Apex court, if we have any difference in opinion and not to practice riots which will slow down our own state's economy and growth.

May I ask you who the hell you are to poke your nose into our Country's affairs? We know how to solve our problems. Its better for you to stay in your country and clear your own backyard. We dont need anybody's help in solving our internal matters. Plz GET OUT!!!!!
Court ordered karnataka to release 192 tmc water annually not 419 as published in leading news portals. Media is misguiding the people by giving wrong information. The number 419 comes like this (192 Water collected in Tamil Nadu cauvery catchment).
I dont find any reason why Karnataka has to worry since 192 is less than 205 which is the number gave by Interim panel.
It is to great credit of Kannadigas that they have been able to create a cosmopolitan and successful city like Bangalore. All Kannadigas, not only Bangaloreans can be genuinely proud of this. Paradoxically, the Kannada only bigots on this message board are Karnataka's greatest enemies, for they are undermining Karnataka's greatest strength, its openness.
