Dear Kuamr, I was in Chennai for more than 10 yrs & I have experienced how tamil people behave with a person who dont know Tamil. U got this judgement becoz of political power. Tamil Nadu has done the same thing from 1892. Pls. go throgh the Agreement made between Raja of Mysore & Madras province. U will find out how much goo were your people. AS pe rht eAgreement Karnataka were not supposed to construct any dams, not supposed to iriggate withouit their permission" Do U feel it is right????

In chennai, only 35 % are tamilians, 30 % Telegu (Andhra), 10 % Kannadigas and balance North Indians. Even the water needs of Chennai is for all the people and not only for Tamilians. Same way, all languages people are living in gross roots of all the states. One should mind it.

There were no anti-muslim riots in Bangalore recently. I live in Bangalore, and did not face any problem during the small disturbance you call riots. Do not write wrong things.
This is getting out of hand people!! so much hatred amongst urself!!Indias name is getting to places in world politics and u guys who live in india probably dont realise how much respect india demands from the other so called developed nations...these cheap politics and killing urself and hating each other is not going to get our country nowhere!! fine if u continue to do this why dont u go ahead and kill ever other guy who dont belong to ur respective states and burn a few buses and trains and damage some buildings..u know what the idiots who dont do that probably are some hooligan who does nothing useful and destroys stuff which are boughts with the tax payers money...ur bloody money and we sit here and support this!!! think how many families are desrtoyed cos of these acts?? what if ur family mamber dies in this riots!! come on my fellow indians..take up ur weapons and kill a few people and destroy a few families..who cares huh!! if u want to fight this in court thats fine but dont go killing people who are in no way involved in this just to satisfy ur stupid pride..this goes to both sides...

I think all the Bangalore Tamils should go to Tamil Nadu, to drink all that 192 TMC they are supposed to get. If they stay in Bangalore, they will have to suffer what Bangalore suffers, shortage of water.

yeah and what they can do is divert their sewage water which u can drink in return!!u can think all u want if u ve any brains but then sending off all the tamils off bangalore is not going to solve the problem and i dont think the tribunal is that stupid to ve overlooked that problem..so pls try not to write stupid things here...
i cant help but laugh at the fact that they delivered this verdict after 17 years .. in 17 years span ,TN and Karnataka could have developed other other sustainable irrigation models for the farming systems in both the states.. we dont care about that ,rather we would react inducing hatred and mutually assuring destruction ..and blatanly bragging about silicon valley in bangalore when 70% of India(?) is under poverty .. F@#@#@ amazing !! I think the concept of india will remain an illusion intil the day we grow some spine and fight for the real issues.. ..going by our history I dont think we will ever do that ..

Very true Di, We have been talking about integrating the rivers for past 25 years, if we had started then, it would have grown to something atleast by now, or we could have started desalination of our huge sea waters for drinking purpose, we do nothing and keep fighting ourselves. the future wars would be for water resources and India should start thinking of innvoative ideas for keeping our water resources adequate.
Water is national assest...every citizen have the right...as well as human being is also a national assest...there is no point of fighting among the brother....we r indian....no tamilian..no karnataka's......let show this world that we r one

Cant these ppl see that its (-13TMC) which means that they have got more water...
Now guys answer me, which is is the group of ppl who never uses the brain and fights for everything??

Use your brain first. Kannadigas arent protesting that they are loosing more water. They wanted more water and they are given less. FYI, Interm order shouldnt be used as a scale to measure the current verdict. Mandya, Mysore and Bangalore depends on Cauvery water. I am not able to understand, what TN is going to do with that much water. Atleast in Karnataka we store in our dams. What about in TN? flood the water into sea, and then again cry for more water?
This is nothing more than cheap politics by center and Karunanidhi, who wants more water to distribute it to people, to clean the television sets & lpg stoves, he distributed recently.

You should use your brain in up not in karnatak. We know how is water loosing. Do you know banglaore people depending upon Kaveri water. In case you are giving kaveri water to TN and what about bangalore for growing and what about famers. Farmers depends on this river. So i request you please use your brain in Up.

Dear Friend, U ppl sit outside & think Problem is with Kannadigas. U Say we saved 13 tmc more. But DO u know the interium order was given to release 205 tmc water from Mettur Dam & now the verdict cam to realese 192 tmc from Biligundlu dam. Frm Mettur automaticaly 25 tmc water will flow to T N. So it 192 25 = 217. I hope U know maths

It is not that Karnataka use the water first and then release the water to TN if there is any remaining water..... Please note that Cauvery is a property of both the states.. If there is a drought, both the states have to share the drought... as simple as that...

Seeing the overall laziness in implementing anything, I feel Goverments will hardly work on this like they never do on ANYTHING. point taken but there is no group here...no one's better or worse than other...stop blaming each other..talk your concerns, talk only abt concerns and don't make someone else bad.
Dear Indians I am really afraid of the ongoing forum. I don%u2019t know in what way its going to resolve this dispute. First of all we should have patient, if kannadigans feels this verdict is against them they can go for apply again. Blaming ourselves is not a healthy, this shows still people are narrow minded. If kannadiagans blame tamils in Karnataka, tomorrow Indians will be blamed in US/Eurpoe etc,, saying we are taking there opportunity. Today world as shrink, people are traveling to different part of world and settling. They work hard and make lot of contribution to that place and society. Same think for Tamilian in Karnataka and kannadigans in Tamilnadu etc%u2026 So don%u2019t map peoples region of origin with this matter.
There is lot of solutions to solve this matter, our big brothers (politicians) will do it, but definitely they will not find solution. So be patient and remember we are from the country of great man %u201CMahatma Gandhi%u201D As an India this is my kind suggestion brothers

you are an AH, why are you bothered about how will your neighbours treat when there your house is burning on fire. why do even think about what US and europe will think, we have to survive first. Ask TN to get underwater, and utilize it. you do not know the right reason for our fight.
