The Blame Game.
by PKN on Jan 01, 2008 07:47 PM  Permalink

Lawyers may disgree but it is motive that helps identify who the killer is ! Mussaraf does not have a tangible motive for having Ms Bhutto killed . Having caved in to US pressure and having agreed to hold a 'free and fair' elections , Ms Bhutto would have been the best choice . Drunk or sober, Mussaraf was aware of the fact that the opposition would win the election. Ms Bhutto was a better option for him than Navaz Sharif ever would be . Then why get her killed?
The same cannot be said of rogue elements within the Pakistani establishment who were probably aware of the fact that Benazir would in the long run cut to size the military and their power base.

It is unwise to finger at Musharraf Mian for every wrong happenings.
He is not responsible for kicking out Nawaz
He is not responsible for Kargil attack
He is not responsible for Bin Laden being alive
He is not responsible for terrorists survival
He is not responsible for making Pakisthan a loughing State
He is not responsible for Benazir's death
He will not be responsible for Nawaz's future
He is not responsible for Bush's disappointment
He is not responsible for any problem in India
It is we who are responsible for defaming this honest man.
Hume apni buri adaton se chutkara pana chahiye. Ihunhi kisi ko badnam karna achhi baat nehi.......After all, munda Delhi ka banda hain. Usme kuch nuks ho hi nehi sakta hain.

Mushrraf and Benazir's death
by balkrish on Jan 01, 2008 07:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is waste of time to blame Musharraf and all concerned should understand including all Americans and europians that Islam not allows women to rule the country. Pakistan is a Islamic country and not a secular democratic country. Further majority people in Pakistan are still follows the many centuries old Islamic way of living which is contrary to today modern world when almost all other religions even older than Islam in the world are changing and isloting their religion from their daily way of living
Hence, their religion is the cause and is the reason always for all the turmoil and unrest in Muslim world and they cannot live peacefully as long as they live and rule as told in their religion.Unless majority Muslims change their mind to secular values as other religious people in the world there is no chance of democratic rule and peacefull living not only in Pakistan but in any other Muslim world.

by SM on Jan 01, 2008 07:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whatever happens in pak, why we are burning our blood and wasting our time. None of the political leader in pak wins election without talking and misguiding local pak muslims against India. Just listen what speech Bhutto give before she died. On the other hand Indian politician wins election always by speaking shanti varta with pak. Whts this. Instead of wasting time on whatever happening there, we should talk on what the terriable happenings in our India.

Good..You are there to create/bring in news and that is enough. Keep up the good work of inserting other news into some other news and soon you will get the job of Narada..Where you there in UP when the incident happened? How else did you get the news? Through the wind? Since the death of Benazir Bhutto's death is an International news, it would definitely attract world attention. Just because you read the news on some other site and can't find it here, you can't cry hoarse and get into some other news discussion groups. If you cannot just care for people's suffering (whoever it is - in your case you don't even care for neighbours or brothers), then it's better you go and search for such news in the following sites..

It's not always the Leaders, rather it's the people of a country defines/makes that country. Same is the case here, since 42% (almost half) are in adoration of AQ, Pakistan itself has become one land of AQ's. Now coming to Musharraf not done it - The author is telling it from the assumption that AQ had killed Benazir Bhutto. But the possibility of killing her is more with ISI and we all know Musharraf's main agenda is India Bashing without which he cannot survive since 42% of the people's support is always good for him. Now who else is his ideal partner in this agenda other than ISI. It can never be Benazir Bhutto. I am not saying Benazir Bhutto will oppose ISI in it's activities, it's that she doesn't simply have power to oppose the ISI which is a sort of "All'arrgh' powerful", male chauvinists including Musharraf. My guess is that ISI did it in collusion with Musharraf and this author has been paid by ISI.

MUSHARRAF & BENAZIRS DEATH
by damodaran mohan on Jan 01, 2008 07:02 PM  Permalink

Musharraf is shrewed enough to know Benazir had lot of enemies.but at the same time he also knew that the biggest single gainer from BBs death would be himself. so, all that he needed to do was to look the other way. there were many people to do the dirty job.

by vijayakanth polavarapu on Jan 01, 2008 06:55 PM  Permalink

the report and the statement given by Mr.Sudhir Mist is quite true. Musharaff is the only man having guts to fight with Taliban or Al Qaeda.
And he should not be blamed always also for the worst activities of the fundamentalists or the Al qaeda. Let the Pakistan be the best peaceful country in the world.

Musharraf Cannot be trusted
by konanur krishnamurthy on Jan 01, 2008 06:53 PM  Permalink

I do not agree with the views of the author. Mush was the architect of the Kargil War in which thoudands of young patritic soldiers on both sides were killed. He was responsible for the dismissal of elected Prime Ministers and sent them out of the country on exile. He is very close to war hungry George Bush and China and receives lot of military equipment under the guise of eliminating terrorism; but want to build up fighting power against India. He dismissed a constitutionally appointed Chief Justice and has cut the freedom of the press. He was responsible for failing the Agra summit with EX-PM Vajpayee, who is respected and loved by all countries of the globe. I do not hold anyspecial consideration for Benezir Bhutto either. But I strongly condemn her murder. Most of the people of Pakistan and in the international community believe Mushy got her eliminated. Even Nawaz Sherif is not safe as long as Musharraf is President. Benezir and her husband looted Pakistan and made ytons of money, all parked in Swiss and UK banks.
