well firstly it's "Opiate" not "Opium". Secondly, it has less to do with religion, and more to do with politics. Terrorism itself is a geo-political phenomenon not a religious one. Like all geo-political movements it draws on the most common and resounding plank from which to attract followers. In India we have the VHP and RSS, exact mirrors of Al-Qaeda and the Nazi party. In their conduct and the aggressive approach we see a common behavioural pattern. In the US, Ireland and the like we have extremist and violent groups that draw on religion and race to garner support. It is a fallacy to oversimplify by blaming religion for anything and everything. Let's not forget that Tianaman square and the Bolshevik revolution, as well as Nazism and racism are products of atheism. In the end it is the people who are extremists, using ideology as a pretext to give vent to their own innate aggression and hate.

I do not see how you can compare VHP and RSS to Al-Queda and the NAZI party. Both VHP and RSS have been formed as a defence against ISLAM and the Missionaries. It is good you have Al-Queda and NAZi's as same.

Of course VHP and RSS are terrorist organizations. Its an open fact and any number of people(most of them paid comment writers of BJP to influence the readers)denying it any number of times will not alter that fact.

If this is true then Mr.Sivaprasad is either from LTTE or a fake ID ... temme one instance RSS-VHP blew up a plane / hijacked a plane / did some violent activity outside India / kill(ing) people in the name of religion ... if u mention Godhra thn why don't u mention innocents burnt alive ... if u mention ayodhya, thn wht abt Bombay blasts ? Going by ur saying, thn muslims in India going for riots are all terrorists !! haha u don't even understand difference between terrorism and riots !!!! wht abt innocent kashmiri pandits ... yess no doubt they are anti-human, involved in only riots but terrorism is totally a different thing than organizing riots ...

RSS adheres to Gandhian wisdom and it has done yeoman service to remove untouchability and eradicate caste barriers. If you read authentic history, shall find that Gandhiji appreciated efforts by RSS.
It may not have succeeded yet, but it will one day succeed in bestowing Bharatiya values which Gandhiji subscribed to. Here is an effort in verse to convey this perception.
The spirit of national consciousness, In all men at all levels; An expression of religious woes, Mixed with modern civilisational throes. A complex mixture of thoughts did swell, Struck their roots and cast a spell.
Amidst the turmoil India arose, A man in making, men evoked. Nation found an expression, Concept deemed a person. Metamorphosis of a native alien, In the garb of mystics legion; A mahatma was born.
The nation then took few great strides, Empire struck back with a great divide; And people lived in a confused spell. Where his killer caused a dubious swell, And homonyms led the nation.
Though new thoughts have now dug deep roots, Sprung generations which cared two hoots, For Gandhi or his studied perceptions. Yet, it is certain, his spirits will return.

If we go by the theory Mr. Sivaprasad is projecting, then CPI-M is a terrorist party, because of its involvement in Nandigram, Congress is a terrorist party because of 1984 riots etc. Mr. Sivaprasad could also be a paid comment writer as he is calling others.

The Land named Pakistan was born for a particular religion. It seems that every religion aims at Eternal Peace.....

You are fool respect other religions you are living in 21st century. I trust that , its a mind set which makes people fanatics, extremist, now in Hindus are also trying to be in Islam shoes, they are also learning the lessons of hatred and soon make south asia like middle east only hate and hate and hate.
Pakistan NEEDS to give Waziristan region back to Afghanistan as they should have after Durand line 100 year treaty expired in 1990s (like Hong Kong went back to china). This will eliminate the excuse mushraf uses to why pak military cannot go there (autonomous region) and NATO cannot come into (Pakistan territory). Pakistan grabbed this land after treaty expired and called it a autonomous region . It needs to give it back as it should have in the first place. Then NATO can go in and clean the place out, local pashtuns will like that too.
