There is only one real truth 'Humanism', as it is not an 'organized religion' whose failure was realized in Europe when 'renaissance' happened they became secular and in America with their 'constitution' and Jefferson's writings. The Chinese and Japanese where always secular in their life & approach. The similarities of all these thoughts can also be found in the Upanishads. Unfortunately, Islam could not break free of the shackles of organized religion which the West could as they had the influence of the Greeks. The Far East nations had the influence of Confucious, Buddha, Lao-Tzu. Hence, there is nothing to convert to; as the whole progressive world is secular and follows Uniform Civil Code. Every developed country in the world is secular and follows one-law and the best practices across imaginary organized religions, genders, and all other time-wasting divisions. Religion is One. Human Body, Mind, Human Spirit & Human Creativity, Gender Equality are the only religious attributes worth pursuing. Rest are all questionable and wasting one's energy and destroying oneself. Misunderstanding, Manipulation and Mockery has been made of the lives of people in the name of religion none which they have chosen in the first place. It has caused more harm than good. The earlier people break free of this self righteous, status-quo mentality, and accept Uniform Civil Code, the more they will benefit and progress and will join the great creative force of humanity and enjoy life in general.
I am in US and been to europe as well. I have never seen any one fighting for church..well they hardly care for church..people over here are so busy in work and so dedicated to their work there is not time or place for church or such religious issue. I can say jesus or churches are brought into India by western countries but these days these countries themselve are not caring for. Why there is fight for jesus or church in India ? I think the mindset of people is laid back or is of stone age in India..thats why they are fighting for such Isuee. I agree these missionaries are converting tribal people into christianity.One question here is what these VHP..RSS or whatever hindu organisations are doing. Have they ever tried to listen to tribal people's plight ? Have they ever gone to tribal areas to spread the message of Gita or any message of hindu saints..most likely answer is NO..if Missionaries can go or can pump money from abroad to convert people why we Hindus in our own country do something or spread message of our religion to help poor people stay in Hinduism..

Life is God. Every developed country in the world is secular & disciplined and follows 'Uniform Civil Code'. Religion is One. It is the development of the Body & Mind. Rest are all lies and mockery and manipulation of the emotions and brains of people. Spend more time in Science, Technology, Art, Music, Sports and build economies around these for Humans & Infrastructure around these activities. Organized religion is organized madness. Just limit to Human Mind and Human Body and Human Values for Human & Gender -- Equality & Unity. The Sanskrit word - Artha means both money & meaning for Life. The Buddhist concept of 'Sangha' is also that of communism! Hence, meaningful capitalism & communism is part of humanism. All Western countries are secular.
Now the Christians have started attacking the persons who oppose conversions. They have been emboldened as the self-styled secularists like Congress, Left and media - who don't have slightest self-esteem - have blatantly adopted anti-Hindu stance everytime and tried to teach a different kind of secularism to garner bulk votes of Muslims. These selfish people may take advantage of Hindu tolerance (or indifference or cowardice)initially but sooner or later they are going to be taught a right lesson as there is limit to everything. It must be borne in mind that the concept of religion, by and large, stands rejected in the west. These Christian missionaries find India as their best bet for running their shop as they find hardly any opposition to their real and clandestine activities. China knows these people well and has not allowed Pope to visit it.

I would appreciate if conversion is made out of conviction and not out of allurment. The moment alluremnt is there, it becomes a trade not faith. Have respect for other communities. Hinduism never teaches hatred towards others.

every one talks about the cast system and say conversion is good.. then what did christian do to black americans they were treated like dogs in their own country. now u go and convert all of them in hinduisum..
all started when christians attacked a hindu swamaji who oppose conversion..they are main culprit.......... with just 3% population if they can do this just think if they become majority what and all they will do....

That is a falsze presumption. The statistics shows that there is no targetted group. It stems across all economical classes, social classes, and cast base. But the fact of the matter is, SCs and STs are the ones who are realizing the deceipt and are converting back to Hinduism or Budhism. That's why there is an impression that more and more backward class people are getting converted.
Secondly, Majority of the Missionaries - the people who actully CONVERT - are from UPPER Class! It is a SAD reality. Yes, the so called Upper class came to rescue this country time and again - with their philosophies and guiding power. The so called loser classes - provided the grass root cadre for the philosophies there by making the Hindiusm sustainable. Vatican thinks that the only way to Kill India is to demolish it philosophically. So, an Uppercast convert is enticed more - by offering all kinds of benefits - including Status as Missionaries; entrusting them with responsibilities to convert others. Making them believe they are making A DIFFERENCE.
Unless, our SO SECULAISTS (read as pseudo-secularists) are reigned in this nation - the nation is on it's way to PERIL. THey are the ones who use double standards for their short term benefit.
