If the victims were Muslims, they would be compensated back in 2001 itself !
by Johny Dayal on Dec 13, 2007 11:40 PM  Permalink

The bottom line of this Congress secular political hoax on Indian people is-
If thousands of a Sikhs got murdered by Congressmen in 1984 it is secular,
If a Kashmir Pundits gets killed, raped, thrown out of their home state or exterminated it is secularism,
If a Hindus gets slaughtered during riots in Bombay, Hyderabad, Godhra, Banares, UP, Kerala, Parliament House etc it is again SECULAR,
BUT WHEN A MUSLIM GETS KILLED IT IS COMMUNAL

They only knows how to coddle minorities & hate Hindus & everything sacred to them. Our spineless Manmohan has been asked by Sonia to wear sarees to Parliament. "Manmohan presides & Sonia decides".

...A mouthpiece of the PM/ Congress? Then instead of pushing for Afzal's Termination, why is it shamelessly terming the rightful outrage of a victim as the PM's Embarrasment? It so concerned for the PM & gives a shit for the people.

by Real Estate on Dec 13, 2007 04:38 PM  Permalink

Do we need an airport in the President's consituency when she is sitting without signing on the hanging of Afzal Guru. Also isn't non-compensation of a person who died saving our parliamentarians rubbing salt into our jawans wounds .... SHAME ON YOU YOU DIRTY PM, SONIA GANDHI AND THEIR VOTE BANK POLITICS ... getting a contempt order against Modi is more important than compensating our jawans. Its not too far when the people will start spitting on the PM and the UPA....

Shame on whole political system.
Shame on all NGOs, Teestas, and Tejpals, who are only interested in setting communities against each other, but they never work for true causes.

Section 49-O of the Constitution
by Satish Bhopale on Dec 13, 2007 03:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear all,

Did you know?

Section 49-O of the Constitution

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked, and convey the presiding election officer that he / she doesn't want to vote anyone !

Yes, such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY" ? .... Because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them.

This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election

commission has not revealed such a feature to the public.... Please spread this news to as many as you know... Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance.

So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote "49-O") and pass on

Satish... I can tell u why Election Commission has never publicised it. It is because any such provision doesn't exist. This has been proposed number of times by various citizen groups, but never implemented.. Guess why? Bcos in order to make it a law, it has to be approved in the Parliament. And, it is one of those rare issue, where all the political parties are united.

No Idea how u can say that ur vote got counted as a valid vote. Bcos since the last couple of years, it is impossible for u to know what u have written i.e " that YOUR vote got counted as a valid vote, and u got information that one vote was given to no-one"
But, Ya, Satish, Do appreciate your desire to make a difference. Keep It Up

I checked it just 2 months back. I know the pooling officer was also not known with this but when I asked him, He gave me the Balet paper and i entered it as blank by mentioning it "As per 49-O" and my vote got counted as a valid vote as pooling result came i got information that "One vote was given to no one"

Steps for doing this :
1. while registering the name by the time of voting, convey the
booth officials that "I want to go for 49'O".
2. Register your signature in the 49'O form available there.

Done.

Do you still want to put your life at stake for nation
by Narender Sharma on Dec 13, 2007 03:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am very much dissappointed by the fact that someone who offered his life to save leaders of this country, his kins are waiting for justice. These politicians will pass any bill which is there for thier benfits in a day. I feel next time these soldiers let these leaders killed so that they should understand the agony thier families are going through. Shame on the Government.

Yes, Sharmaaji. Ye kahate huye mai jara bhi sharma nahi raha hu. ye hamari bharat maa hai, Don't think about these politicians. Think about Bhagat Singh, Raj guru, Sukhdeo, Chandrashekhar Azad, Netaji SubhashChandra Bose. Unki Atma ko shanti deni hai to hame parwan chadhna hoga chahe wo internal issue ho yaa external. We can't keep mum when our Mother/Sister is getting raped. Ye hamara pahala kartavya hai ke hum apne desh ki asmita banaye rakhe. Hum un sare Shahidon ke saath hai aur raheng. iske liye hume andolan chalana hoga jo hum sab milkar chala sakate hai. sirf rediff per likhkar nahi chalega.

Bhopale Sahab. You are right. You replied to my subject. But I think its wrong to put your life at stake for these currupt politicians who only have thier power in mind. Let them feel the burnt, thats what I wanted to convey.

Definitely no compromise on national security.
