Satish... I can tell u why Election Commission has never publicised it. It is because any such provision doesn't exist. This has been proposed number of times by various citizen groups, but never implemented.. Guess why? Bcos in order to make it a law, it has to be approved in the Parliament. And, it is one of those rare issue, where all the political parties are united.
No Idea how u can say that ur vote got counted as a valid vote. Bcos since the last couple of years, it is impossible for u to know what u have written i.e " that YOUR vote got counted as a valid vote, and u got information that one vote was given to no-one" But, Ya, Satish, Do appreciate your desire to make a difference.
