By the way ur father is an Indian....and when u abuse Indians....unfortunately ur are abusing his sacrify...that was the reason of my anger....it is not to hurt you or your families feeling....
in 1962 congress joker nehru was there...and this time also one more congress joker MMS is heading the government...so no surprize if China claims Bhutan also....
I think before looking at others we should look at what we are doing. Tibet is china's internal issue - just like kashmir is ours. yet india chose to give refuse to dalai lama. that is what trigerred the 1962 war. and china had the upper hand in that war and even went quite close to assam. yet they unconditionally went back to status quo. china does not have any territorial aspirations.
same with india's act with pakistan. what was the need to help free bangladesh from pakistan? that was pakistan's internal affair and now see the mess that one act has created in kashmir.
thanks to our great leaders' great foreign policies.

gautam dont talk without knowing the fact.
Tabiet was a free country before china invaded it tabiet was never a part of china even India had claim on it, but that joker Nahru gave up the claim, china attacked india not for give shelter to dalai lama they claim aski chin now know as arunachal pradesh the fight broke out there, again u said that china pull backed unsconditionaly that not true china and tremendrous pressure from UNO to pull back and if china not pull back there may be a action against him
again u said what was the need to help free bangaldesh, India at that time was srrounded by East Pakistan and west pakistan so it will a problem for India to face Pakistan from two sided and also they have a advantage on us and thus our one side of broder was secured by making balgaldesh.
Well i agree with you that our foreign policies are not good

Sonu, having east pakistan and west pakistan, to my understanding, was more beneficial for india. pakistan would have had a logistic nightmare maintaining both and if india had made its airspace a no-fly zone for pakistan, they would have had it. without spending a penny in military, india would have had pakistan on its knees - all the time.

I think u forget that Pakistan has taken kasmir half part , which is known as Pok. China is helping Pak long before....our country hasen't done wrong by taking lama or helping East Pakistan. Our only mistake in 1972 war was that we should have capture Lahore and bargain it for Kashmir.

Start thinking of change, otherwise, India will remain as it is for another 50 years...

yeh, first kashmir, then bangladesh ,then ltte sri lanka, all these are vested interest of our nehru gandhi policies, north east is in mess , if the foreign policies/ home ministries do not rise for national interst then it is not the danger of china but groups within will create a seperate land/country. Lets also not forget the red corridor REAL THREAT

well said santosh i totally agree with you
India is alwayways soft with the neighbour countries. So that our Soldiers and peoples are frequently attacked by the other countries army. Even the small country like Srilankan army is attacking the Tamilnadu peoples and fishermen daily. but our army never done a counter attack. This shows our weakness. Our army is impotent with no power. The army should be allowed to act with entire freedom. there should not be any minister In-charge. then only the army will become strong.

well it seems that u need to learn the very basics of history & the truth post independance.......The than king of J&K decided to provide autonomous power & the freedom to the people to decide whether they would like to stay with India or Pakistan or Independant. However, Pakis....resorted to muscle power & invaded India in 1948 soon after Independance.......& captured some areas....its only than when India counter attacked & was about to capture much territories of Pak...the UNO & other western countries even Russia stopped India.......& finally left Kashmir a matter of dispute

ss - YES, very much YES. for a Defence portlia, we need a clean politician who can protect the country as a whole... our so called secular government is in fact splitting/cutting/choppping/deviding the country on caste/sc/st/obc/minority basis.

chanakya, administration also has to b strong man. he does not take independent decisions. we, the people of kerala, have seen that. a critical portfolio like defence needs sm1 like erstwhile sardar patel. or today's george fernandes. losers like pranab mukherjee were an insult.
RE:antony
by Chanakya on Dec 14, 2007 09:58 AM Permalink
ss- I agree with you... It is difficult to survive for a straight-forward, sincere politicians like Antony in a well educated (politically too - with communalism) state like Kerala. However, in Sardar's time, there were no thousand political parties - when it comes to the Nation, everyone was together. In today's situation, hardly any Minister, Chief Minister (or Defence Minister) can take a stern and individual decision, since several of the governments are coalition partners and the fear of pulling the rug under, always there.
india shud ceede the whole of arunachal pradesh in return for china's termination of support to pakistan. in fact, we shud bargain on this plank. india has to accept china as the region's big brother & forge a strategic relationship on this foundation

dear, it shows ur weak mentality. definitely they will not stop there only.... ou weak strategy is the main culprit for mass terrorism in india. we should lean more.... now we should give strong reply to them. every country is bonded with some international rules. they can not encroach like this. india must give firm reply to them.

As no one can spit at the sky....similarly some issues do not have discrete solutions. Yes or No. While we can continue dialoguing with our neighbours it should be understood that greed and unfairness does nnot have any end. If we are not the Big Brothers we should learn to stand up and face it and not just be accomodative. We have to be assertive in whatever we do. If someone chokes you the first reaction would be to attack as the best form of defence! JAI HIND
