I seriously think Deve Gowda will visit the site tomorrow. The collapse has occured in the cantonment area and most probably it would be of a Muslim. So our pseudo-secularists would definitely be there to share the pain and console their "muslim brethren"... bullshit..
Anyway my sympathies to the lives that were lost... poor people wouldn't have had any clue...

This guy called "Subrahmanya Prasad" is a shame to his name, his country and to whosover he represents!! Such sick minds are the main cause of our country being what it is today. Instead of analysing a problem objectively they immediately tend to link it to some politicians and then a group/cult and then to religion...Such people truly speaking have no religion nor ethics. They are so vulnerable that they would get brain-washed by any uneducated politician. This is the reason the Indian politicians are able to rule over the masses and get elected without actually doing anyhting constructive. Actually I cannot blame this "Ramaiah".. Its the lack of proper education and upbringing in our society which knows to only respect the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, math and for most the need of a qualification is to earn money, without knowing what they want to do with that money....This is the greatest tragedy of our nation.

ok... i was talkin about devegowda's hypocrisy and pseudo secularism... i apologize if i hurt anyone's sentiments... i have nothing against islam or muslims... but agains pseudo secularists who sympathize with muslims to garner their votes
I sympathise with the families and friends of the bereaved and injured.
However, one needs to have perspective. If a structure is not designed for a certain load, you cannnot expect it to take that load.
Even in your own hose/flat. you need to be careful about what you load and where. For example, you cannot get a heavy 'Safe' and place it anywhere you like at home.
It is not just about buildings. Just because trucks are made for carting stuff - you see so many overloaded trucks on highways - causing accidents.
The same goes for development - Bangalore is not equipped with adequate infrastructure to handle the number of people migrating in to bangalore. Everything is a chaos - Water systems, sewage syatems, schooling capacities, public transport, roads, power....and politics.
See this incident in its perspective. Bangalore reaaly needs to wake up before its too late.
Primarily, for builders economics get a precedence before quality of the structure, they use inferior steel and also compromise on the structural design of the building. Yet when we buy too we never bother to check the credentials of the builder. People breed these builders to flourish by purchasing flats from them, if someone can be blamed..., it is us!!! Cheers

All buiders take the contract to earn as it is a business transaction. But are you aware of the problems of any government contractor? Before the work is allotted(issuing of work order) to any perspective bidder/contractor, the contractor has to dole out a minimum of 30% of the total contract amount to the officials. And the contractor's profit considered in any contract is 15%. How on earth the contractor can earn profit in any contract? The main problem lies in the system, where corruption rules. First this has to to stop. Only then the contractors can execute projects honestly & the people can flourish.

But I ask one question, what corporation is doing whien the appartment was not handed over to the corporation and let out for rent. Is it not the responsibility of the Corporation. When there is a problem, the blame is thrownon the contractors. We know all contractors are like that. But it is the responsibility of the Corporation and also the people taken on rent also partly responsible.
Now Kumarswamy can't pour money from his pockets... But still I think many politicians come with 5-10 Lakhs/family.. as ther election around the corner.

Helo Manish, i understand your exhibition of frustration over the incident. However, I find you to be immatured in saying what you have said. Look at the incident as it is - house balcony collapsed because of the over crowding - and no terrorist or Pakistani was invited for the function. All the invites were relatives and known to each other. Therefore in that small place there was no stranger there. Your accusation of Pakistanis or Chinese is baseless. Just because you are granted the freedom of expression, you cannot let loose your tongue and wag around like mad person Hold your tongue in mout my brother or else flies will shit in your mouth and you will give out fowl smell. Be constructive and not destructive in your criticism. Have a nice day.
