RE:'For Modi, Muslims don't exist'

UNIVERSALITY is the need of the hour. As long as people segregate themselves in the nameof religion, they will be left out of the mainstream and that is the reason of this struggle.

Dear Allampallam,

You are not a muslims. Pls do hide your identity.

There is a difference between hindu and muslim relegion. Its a fact and there is no doubt in it. But, that does not mean that the followers of both religion need to hate and be at war with each other.

Religions are just the personal matters and the country's affairs. Let us remember, this fact. No politics should be on religion when it comes for elections, country's interest, etc etc.

exactly, we have been saying all these things.... islam as religion has never ever confined itself to be mear religion.. it has always taken pride in it's charcater of political idealogy.. it has tried to define the state .it's duties and also the enforcement .. which is often done in a cruel way... ex : shariat law which lists out the punishment in the most inhuman way..now which is considered obselete...it has failed to keep itself updated to the changing dynamics of society..for every inhuman action of islamists there tens of thousands of supporters...the typical jehadi pscychology...grow up.

dear azad,
we indians, do not want your islam to define our politics
we do not want you islam to define our state's duties and enforcement
What do you want to enforce?
A woman being gang raped, no witness in court, and ultimately that woman to be killed by stone throwing for prostitution whant those rapists say that they had sex with her?
Keep your islamic ideology with you
We are proud of our india of what we have

Unscrupulous Modi (1 of 4)
by Truth Knight on Dec 14, 2007 12:28 AM  Permalink

What Modi has successfully done is highlight for the investment in Gujarat and brazenly take complete credit himself for it. But what is hidden here is the fact that Gujarat has ALWAYS been either 1st or 2nd in that domain since the time it was created. That%u2019s nothing new. But the other things that he brings to the table are: Fake encounters, robbery, insecurity and intimidation of Dalits and Muslims, discrimination of Patels, communalism, heinous polarization of Muslims and Hindus, etc. This is the true tale of Modi's rule in Gujarat.

by Truth Knight on Dec 14, 2007 12:27 AM  Permalink

I wont even delve in to the riots cause it is now public knowledge that that Modis government was the mastermind of that pogrom, the victimization and persecution of Muslims, and was involved in every aspect of the riot from planning, instigation, coordination, execution, perpetuation, the cover-up, manufacturing lies, shoddy investigations, legal subversion and the prevention of delivery of justice. The police sided with the rioters; and not just the carnage, but also the aftermath was clinically planned and supervised by the State In many places, both the defense and the prosecution were on the same side %u2014 on the side of those who looted, raped and killed. judges gave the lawyers their full cooperation and guidance on how to defend the accused rioters. Even the Nanavati-Shah Commission has been compromised.

Also, the riots were not a %u201Creaction%u201D to the unfortunate burning of the Godhra train, but a contrived, pre-planned, well plotted act of the .How else would u explain the imported (from other states) guns and the manufactured bombs? These guns and bombs cannot be made/imported overnight. And since the riots were an immediate backlash, how did those hard liner Hindu fundamentalist rioters have those weapons and bombs the very next day after Godhra train burning? THINK!

Hindu fundamentalists (mainly Gujarati) justify the riots saying - [as it were MUSLIMS who set the train on fire, they had the riots coming to them]. Firstly, there is NO evidence whatsoever to back that claim and even if there was, such criminals CANNOT be called Muslims as terrorism has no religion. Even assuming those criminals were Muslims, why take the life of 2800 more (and displace thousands others) just because they happen to have the same faith? How can a Chief Minister take his que on integrity from terrorists? A terrorist%u2019s sole aim is to create terror, but is that the sole aim of a Chief Minister too? It could, at some level be justified, if he had terrorized just those unscrupulous elements who set the train on fire. But why kill 2800 other innocent souls in the brutal most manner imaginable, just because they share the same religion? And till date justice eludes these helpless beings. Would you blame them if one of these riots victims, who saw his father being slaughtered, his mother being set on fire and his sister being raped brutally, was to take the violent road to revenge and consequently deemed a terrorist? Honestly think: Would you not want to kill and avenge ur father, mother and sisters death in the most barbaric way possible, if you were in his place?

People from Muslim community who set the train on fire did not have a list of name, age and address whom they want to kill by burning them in the train. The attack was by Muslim people on innocent Hindus. They should expect similar retaliation. No one will go out looking who killed train passenger, but will attack mulims in general.

Unscrupulous Modi (4 of 4)
by Truth Knight on Dec 14, 2007 12:26 AM  Permalink

The fact is that Modi was the single, biggest beneficiary of these riots, coming to power with a resounding majority of 126 seats in the following assembly elections.

Today more than 20% of Gujarat is below the poverty line and Modi has taken absolutely no steps to alleviate the problems of these farmers. 420 farmers have committed suicide in Gujarat alone. All he is good at is playing with emotional issues. It helped his in 2002 elections and he is hoping it would work this time around too. He is the paradigm of the communal vote bank gutter politics.

Also, the Tehelka expose was, for all intents and purposes a BJP backed sting. Think about it. Who would have benefited? It is common knowledge that highlighting the role of govt in the riots would have polarized the voters and this polarization would have ONLY benefited BJP (Modi) - NOT the Congress. If Congress was backing the expose, they would have atleast spoken about it for a week or tried to rake up the issue. Rather, the Congress has been careful in NOT bringing up Godhra riots. There was nothing for BJP (Modi) to loose from this expose - only gains. It was a strategic, well contrived plan aiming at communalizing the voters and in the process making it seem that the Congress was behind the sting. THINK!

Smells like double standards.!!
by Contractor on Dec 13, 2007 11:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

But what's surprising is that Congress gets a free card out-of-jail for what it did in '84, but not BJP. Smells like double standards.

This statement is usually thrown by all those who sympathize with fascism coming out of Hindutva forces. Saying, Dont they do it?, Doesnt Pakistan do it?, Dont Muslims do it? are just mere excuses to carry on and legitimize their own bigoted feelings and sympathies.

Just because some African tribe kills people mercilessly does not mean we should do the same. Saying, Dont Africans do it?, will not justify, alleviate or condone your own actions.

double standards has been congress's bastion since years.

they always shout india is a secular country but have never moved article 370. civil equility law...........they have played all possible tricks to divide the masses by showing carrots to a few and then dumping them for some other bigger vote bank.

the country suffers so badly on infrastructure, population, education, healt........but they will cry hoarse on religious issues ........since that will get them votes.

why is the congress, teesta setalvad, shabhana azmi and goons & co mum on Nandigram??????? live example of state sponsored halocaust.....!!!!!!!! with record & proof about it.........no-one has any record or proof about the gujarat govt siding with rioters in 2002........this is all politically moved & bloated issue

y r they having their toes in their mouths on kashmir?????? no noise????? why is that not human rights?

Read This True Picture from Me. I am from Ahmedabad
by Parth Mehta on Dec 13, 2007 08:22 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Media, Congress and other Anti-Modi factors just keep saying bad things about him. But Modi is in power from last 5 years only. Before that, for 45 years we had Congress in power. What they did for State? Nothing. Absolutely Zero. Narendra Modi is not GOD who can do wonders in 5 years only. He needs some more time to implement his policies for Development and for those policies to work. Some of his policies are already working. This Muslim Fear Factor is absolutely wrong. If you come to Ahmedabad, then you will see that how many Muslims are wondering without fear in Hindu Dominated Areas. We still can not go so freely in a Muslim Dominated Area even these days and they are saying Muslims live in Fear. Ask any Hindu to go in Juhapura alone today, he will say no. Ask any Juhapura Muslim to go alone in a Hindu area today, he won't have any problem. The problem with Media is they want to portray Narendra Modi bad and to achieve that, they are portraying all the Gujarati Hindus bad and the state itself as a worse place to live. Congress on the other hand has no agenda for election. They are saying that Vote for Congress because Narendra Modi is bad and should go from Power. They are not highlighting what they will do if they win the election. They don't even have any strong leader who can stand against Modi. In short, Modi is going to win and God forbid, if he looses then Media will be the real Culprit rather than Strength of Congress as a Party in beating him. Long live Modi.

The writer himself is a Muslim based in Juhapura, and he knows this very very very very well....
And all non BJP parties sure of losing the elections are promoting this anti Modi campaign backed by the so called secular english media led by TOI
The reality is that Modi is going to rule for years.....
