Depends on what you term as Pro-Indian.. WE need the assistance to commercially expoit the nuclear technology (to reduce dependence on fossil fuel) incase of non-availability of same post 2020. If India does not act now,it would be too late. Go through the net and collect the data.. India is being cornered in terms of securing supply of crude and gas.. With a population of over 125 crore and no energy secutrity , you may imagine the problems that we may face after 2020. Hyde act is a mere restrain nothing else. No practical significane.

No..infact the Indian government is already trying to implement the hyde act conditions... Our banks refusing to give loans to the companies that deals with Iran... We have already voted against Iran in IAEA...American targets Iran for the sake of oil and it wants us to help them. They ask us to ditch our long term ally. I don't understand how do you this act as No practical significance... Signing the deal is to legalise these pro-US actions. After that we will be bound by the US decisions on international issues. We cant allow that.

Forget the world, we will think of it once we are well fed and secure. We have to safeguard our country first and than think of anyother country. Nobody has supported us for charity in the past, and , Nobody will support us in future for charity.. Thats what we should understand ..Iran, Iraq, etc do not have 125 crore or more people to feed in the world beyond 2020; forget about others dude and worry for our own country.. By the way, probably Iran does not even think about India when they develop their strategic plan..Nobody has given us oil for free so far !

Page 3 of the Hyde act goes like this... Achieve, at the earliest possible date, a moratorium on the production of fissile material for nuclear explosive purposes by India, Pakistan and People Republic of China...
Page 4 goes like this... Secure India's full and active cooperation in United States efforts to dissuade,isolate and, if necessary, sanction and contain Iran for its efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction....
Why should we fall to these... Has the US stopped testing nuclear explosives...?
Secondly, Why should we help to contain Iran...? The american inteligence agencies says there is no evidence for the production of nuclear weapons in Iran. Only Bush says that they are. The same old bogus story that was used in Iraq is being tried out. This is not Indo-US nuclear power deal.. This is to help America gain POWER in Iran...
As soon as Sonia talked about Nandigram violence in a public meeting in Gujarat, CPM barked back on the nuclear-deal issue. In the process they are trying to prove that just to keep BJP away from the central power, they are handholding each other - otherwise they are foes - and in the process doing a big favour to the country !! But nobody wants that favour.
Is Mr. Karat is the PM of India? These people are talking like they own India. If the government is so weak that can't take any decision without the approval of these stupid Commies than it will be better to have election and elect a government which can work without these commies pressure. Listen Dr. Singh, we Indian are feeling very ashamed of you. If you can stand up to these commies than it would be better for you as well us that you government go.

When the Prime Minister gave interview to the Telegraph in August, why did the commies panick? With the baggage of Nandigram, let them face Lok Sabha election which will be also conducted for the seats from West Bengal. Why Karat is waiting for Gujarat polls where his parties will forfeit deposits. People had enough of nagging and double speak from forked tongues. present form of nuclear agreement is not o.k.it does not give freedom.govt. can wait or delay.every one right from russia to u.s.a want to sqeeze money from india.all political paties in india are same.full of scams.american private sector will make lot of gain from nuclear agreement.india must have a right to test nuclear device from their own uranium and not from iaea supplied uranium.america may use arm twisting technoques.
