There have been many riots in the country during congress regime, no criminals have been brought to justice ever since then, e.g. Sikh where 3000 sikhs were killed and the ocngress govt did every thing to wrap it up. Now we have thos who instigated the riots ( Jagdish Tytler and Mr. Sajjan Kumar) are back in power. Mumbai riots in 1993 during Congress regime %u2013 what is the end result???? UPA/Congress will want to take max mileage out of Godhra and Ayodhya, to hell with the the country and Hindus
BJP is defending Criminal Modi shamelessly.BJP blocked Parliament for last three and half years accussing UPA Govt. for accomodating minister with criminal charges. Where their that principle or so called moral is sold to make Modi CM of Gujrat? Recently another senseless attempt is seen without any reason they are comparing some mistakes of secular parties are compared with their heineous crime .

In the late 1980s, Abdul Latif was the underworld king of Gujarat. Later, he became Dawood Ibrahim's business manager in the State and was one of the criminal dons to make what now seems to be the seamless transition from organised crime to terrorism. Latif was a suspect in the Mumbai blasts case of 1993; the RDX and other explosive devices for that operation landed, remember, on the Gujarat coast.
In November 1997, Latif was killed in an encounter with the Ahmedabad police.
Many of Latif's cohorts were put under watch. One of them was his driver, apparently responsible for, in one daring move, hiding a huge cache of weapons meant for terrorist groups. This was part of the consignment that had arrived before the Mumbai blasts of 1993. Latif was under surveillance so his driver had hidden the arms in a well in his (the driver's) native village near Ujjain.
The driver eventually faced over 50 cases, including some under the National Security Act. He was arrested, at various stages, by the Gujarat and the Madhya Pradesh police, but avoided conviction. When not facilitating terror networks, he was engaged in extortion rackets in Rajasthan, acting almost certainly on behalf of others. His principals, the police believe, may be linked to terror-funding groups.
The name of Latif's driver was Sohrabuddin Shaikh.

This country has had a history of trying to go overboard in showing off that they take care of muslims and christians on par with the muslims. This trend was started by Gandhiji and was put into commercial use by the wily Nehru, and then Indira Gandhi realized the hidden political potential and went into an overdrive to appease them at the cost of hindus. This has been taken as a normal course of action by Sonia Gandhi since she neither has the intelligence of a nehru or the boldness and smartness of Indira Gandhi. Hence what was once a matter of policy restricted to few areas, this present UPA government has taken it to ridiculous levels of minority ( read non hindus) at the cost of Hindus. What the hell, as someone mentioned here, why does not the government speak about the hindu minorities in J&K , NE states who have been victims of both the government apathy and local majority harrassment. BJP is not a saviour of hindus , but atleast someone like Modi showed the hindus that they can breathe free in their own country. Congress is going to get wiped out in Gujarat and at the centre too. The hindus are the most tolerant among the religions but that does not mean that they can take anything and everything thrown at them.And thats what happened in Gujarat and thats why the congress is jittery enough and apprehensive about this trend spreading to other states.

While the congress sheds crocodile tears over the perceived "lawlessness" in Gujarat, what did they do when Nandigram was looted, burnt and raped? Was that supposed to be an epitome of "lawful" governance? Is there one set of rules for the BJP ruled states and a completely another set of rules for the commies? Why don't we then talk about the 1984 massacre of the Sikhs all over Indian and point out that the congress also has blood-stained hands?

No no when Sikhs are killed it is reaction. Hindus in Godhra were so crazy that in order to start a riot, they locked the train and burnt themselves. I do not know why right thinking Indian can say that Godhra, 1984, Bhagalpur, Gujarat, Nandigram all are dirty instances. Do not be selective and do not brand any party communal. Both culprit and witness get same punishment in Democracy. An innocent human being very easily being arrested, but a ruling culprit can roam here and there in our system.

THATS TRUE. and SOnia Gandhi's cheapness and lack of class was evident when she put her foot down to have PV Narasimha Rao cremated in Hyd and not in Delhi as per his status as an ex prime minister. Shows her vindictive nature and this is reflected in all her actions. Congress has no real leaders like Rajesh Pilot, Scinidia. Some who were there like Sharad Pawar are no more there.The only real leader, but again with no mass following is Pranab Mukherjee and Dogvijay singh ( has both), but even he is sidelined now. The party is being run by people who once were cooks, security guards and attenders of the gandhi family.We should be ashamed as a nation to let this happen
it really amuses me to read about the congress and other parties' concern towards the minority community. minority this, minority that, minorities suppressed, blah blah blah. for the love of god, what about the majority? since hindus make up most of india, should not our government's concern be for their welfare first?
