Modi Won, Congress Lost, BJP abstained!
by aji george on Dec 23, 2007 01:20 PM  Permalink

Narendra Modi Won the Gujarat Election for BJP and for himself. It is not BJP's ideologies or old Hindutva issues that won the Vote for BJP, But Modi's Charishma as a leader leading from the front , and effectice Communication Skills, and his "Tit for Tat" attitude as well his behaviour of calling "spade as spade", alongwith his continuance of Industrial development activities, that won him Votes. Congress has no natural leader, only there are stop gap arrangement leaders, like Dinsha Patel. Also Congress's Minority appeasement Comments at the time of Elections , polarised the Hindu Communities to unite, fearing Muslim Unity. Then, from now onwards, Congress should not appease any Community, and instead focus development issues, or Show alternative in terms of development , by showing good work in Congress ruled states, then only People can look for example and shift their stand to them. They should now not delay Hanging Terrorists like AFSAL Guru , now understanding the simple common sense of understanding that you cannot appease a particular minority Community , and win an election like a large state like gujarat.Congress, beware, that Elections are round the corner, if you are now not compromising on Nuclear deal with Communists, because even if your intentions are good, your Position in Politics interms of Mumbers game in Loksabha will have great impact now onwards. And Congress should Change their double standard image of a Secular party, but be genuine

Bhasmasur !
by Bhau Fakkad on Dec 23, 2007 12:54 PM  Permalink

A Bhasmasur ruling three worlds does not become a god.He still remains a demon. It only means that his death day has not come.

Modi represents the filth in Indian politics. He is as facist as Hitler who won over people with his charishma. But Hitler was destined to committ suicide, Modi's destiny clearly heads to the same situation.

Gujarat has shamelessly put a heap of dirt to represent them. They will be the final sufferers & will repent for their mistake.

Modi does not have a trace of nationalism. He is up to demolish the nation & nationalism. He is cent percent facist & anti-democratic. Donot see virtues in him that are not even remotely attached with him.

It is now BJP's worry to handle this Bhasmasur. The commando operation of installing Advani as the PM candidate to curb Modi's stature is not going to work now.

Moditva will take this country to another partition. And this time the partition will not be Hindu versus Muslim, it is going to be a partition between communal Hindus versus secular Hindus!

religion and nationality.
by . on Dec 15, 2007 11:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

ppl say religion n nationality r two different things. further they say religion is personal belief of some1 to be followed in their own homes. but as a person ie by nationality, v r all indians. thus conversion of ppl from one religion to another does not affect our nationality.
now the point is.
think of jinnah who was hindu by birth. n he was misguided to b converted himself into muslim. subsequently, he realised his mistakes n wanted to reconvert to his original hindu religion. but during that time, the hindu religious leaders did not allow him to reconvert him to hinduism.
this frustrated jinnah to a great extent. he was then instrumental to the creation of state called pakistan in the name of religion. imagine if jinnah had been allowed back as hindu by the leaders then, the partition wud nt hv taken place.
so ultimately change of religion ultimately led to change of nation and thus conversion and nationality r invariably related terms n cant b separated.

RE:religion and nationality.

Dear Sir,
One small correction
Mohammad Ali Jinnah did not converted himself to islam, It was his father
His father was a Gujarati from Lohana community
His father's full name was
Zinabhai Poonjabhai Thakkar
( it can be spelled as Jhinabhai also)
He himself was converted to muslim, and he named his son as Mohammad Ali
Now, when Mohmmad Ali grew up with his own identity, he was ashamed of his father's hindu name.
And under normal circumstances, his traditional full name would be Mohammad Ali Zinabhai Thakkar
So, he changed, rather shortened his name, dropped surname Thakkar and respelled father's name from Zinabhai or Jhinabhai to Jinnah and created it as surname for his muslim identity.
Thus he became Mohammad Ali Jinnah

Grow up- Friends
by Ashwani Arora on Dec 10, 2007 05:10 PM  Permalink

Arguments For and against are far many. Political System of our country and Media is our reflection-whatever we may call it.
We survive, react, act, elect, enact in reactions to what is happening. And this exercise continues. We appease one to fetch the favour and please others at the cost of others. The game is simple. But the tragedy is we all fall prey and become victim of either this or that. People feel safe when Bal Thakrey and Narender Modi is in command whereas others play havoc as and when facilitated. This is true vice versa. Interesting finding is, whosoever maintains the balance of pleasing and displeasing-makes way to power.
But the hard fact is- none succeeded with positive agenda and sentiments whatsoever. Partisan or communal agenda was resorted to by one and all. May it be political or non political, or NGOs`-they all thrive on negative feelings, reactionary fundamentals.
In such a situation- it is really difficult to find people working for upliftment, enrichment of democratic values, moral values.
India has experienced success through assertive leaders, autocrats ever since independence. Nehru, Indira Gandhi and now Congress surviving due to Sonia Gandhi. They hardly allowed dissent to grow. And -interesting enough- India grew during their tenure. Opposition never had- Modi or like as a strong man with convictions who has delivered. And practically none in the Congress seem relevant. Modi if keeps committed balance- Country needs his leadership. Stre

"In the Name of Religion". That is the key. They are neither muslims nor hindus nor chritians nor any other religion, those who believe in killing their bretheren.

Can anyone assure me that the bullet out of the gun in the hands of a muslim not harm another muslim? How is that a support to Islam?

If these creatures, I wont call them people or human as they lost that right the day they killed a human being, called themselves religious supporters, then how do you explain the bombings in Mecca masjid where so many muslims were killed?

Why are we so hell bent in branding a particular community? Why not root out the main cause? Unemployment, Injustice, etc.

An Idle mind is a devils workshop. The saying is very apt. The more qualified yet unemployed people are there the more is the scope of their being influenced by these anti-social forces.

Put aside politics & your religious feelings for the time being and the people in power should try for the greater good of the nation.

REMEMBER YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED NOT TO REPRESENT A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY, BUT TO REPRESENT ALL THE CITIZENS ALIKE.
