But is it a country? Tell me honestly. "A country is a unified bunch of people bounded by a geographical border". Can you say that about India? When a mayavati-supporter or thackery-supporter or a sonia-supporter burns a bus or train, is he making the country famous, even if he says "jaihind"? A "nonsense country" is a much more optimistic view than the reality: "no country"!!

Why should everyone be able to "speak and pronounce hindi"? Hindi is as foreign as english to southern india. Why shouldn't every indian speak his mother tounge among his own and english when speaking to other Indians?

You dumb ass, you have been fortunate enough to be born to a well to do family which could provide you with good basic eduaction. The merit bull shit that you are trying to give would not have had any meaning if you were born in the remote village with no access to clean water and you are deprived of basic amenities and treated less than a human. Reservation only is trying to create a level playing field for the people who have been deprived of their share for 5000 years.
Just learn how US undid its past mistakes through affirmative action for the blacks and ethnic minorites.
People born in the so-called lower castes are not dumb. There are enough people who made it big and living in US and UK. Just providing an opportunity can make all the difference. Besides, its high time the upper castes accept their mistake shed of their arrogance and treat others fairly.

I can say you are also dumb ass. Reservations on caste basis is a curse to India. Reservations should be on the economical conditions. The people from remote village.........will really benefit with such reservations, not by caste reservations. Caste based reservations divides the people.
I thought Hindus were more tolerant that Muslims. May be a bit better than Sudanese who are demanding death sentence for naming a teddybear by one of their own pupils. The narrow minded people have proved that they are no better than muslims that hounded out Tasleema.

No sting ray, it is not the case.
There are still quite a few intelligent persons in India. Reservations do not matter to them. And only such persons are absorbed abroad including in the US and surely they are the ones who are helping the foreign economies and development.
So you can't generalize that entire India is backward. Only that the reservation policy there is wrong because it is based on castes instead of the economic backwardness.
Perhaps you did not get the point that my first letter was sent out of sarcasm.

First things first, I am not a fan of SRK and I am neither very against him. But today I realised why he is king of bollywood. I want to ask this question to all the people who have watched this movie (OSO)? I know srk fans will says what a mind blowing peformance and movie and the ones which are neutral towards srk will say - the movie is ok ..you can watch it once. Not surprising, people who hate srk will say pathetic and overacting from SRK. This is quite obvious...but what is the truth here? If I ask all srk lovers to keep aside their love towards srk and then tell me then I KNOW THEY THEMSELVE WILL AGREE THAT IT IS A PIECE OF SHIT AND HE HAS DONE A LOT OF OVERACTING. But then why the buzz is different? It is just because srk fans are huge ...they outnumber srk haters..so buzz becomes this is rocking movie. The one who r neutral towards srk will now say it is time pass movie as the buzz is towards SRK. Had this movie was directed and acted by someone else I am sure Mr. Taran Adarsh wud have rated as worst movie of bollywood. Am I right mr. Adarsh? The point which I want to bring here is the star value of srk. His presence is so impeccable that it will make feel people living in hell as if they r in heaven. He can bring so much moolah to everyone that no one dares to question anything related to him. He can turns things as if he is magician and OSO success is a classic example of this. So many records were broken but my dear SRK I really like you in Chake de not in oso.

1st of all I would like to ask y did u take out this topic which is not related to this forum??? 2nd that taran adarsh said that OSO is noe of the blockbuster hit in SRK's life with 4 out of 5 stars.read indiafm review carefully if u haven't. 3rd SRK has made his own world from zero with any godfather or he is not even a star child. 4th To b king of bollywood is not a cup of tea.u have to that much smart enough on on screen & off screen as well.y any other bollywood star is not king??bcoz either one is fabulous on screen & not off screen or vice versa.... 5th haters may think he do overacting but thats the originality of him & thats y he is unique one (u can say it overacting or anything) 6th I have also saw OSO & I think it was ok movie although I m his fan.It is bcoz no one in bollywood still have presented their film like it is shown in 1st half (animation effect,70s etc) but 2nd half is lenghty & bcoz it was shown as re-born story many have not loved that part. 7th even john has said that to promote & make movie successful which is not upto the mark u have to b superstar & thats how SRK shines in this case
