In fact other cities are like Srinagar wrt the bombs. Islmaists are never going to change and we will see more bombings from there as the idiots in the administration can just watch.
dude....did a great job. Giving a positive report , on anything which was betrayed a lot , is really a goo dthing a man can do and especially for the kashmir , as a citizen of INDIA , you did a good thing. Lets spread the positive sign all across and lets give a breath and aLSO lets enjoy the fresh breath of KASHMIR
Military is trained to fight another Military. Terrorist/Separatist organizations are not a Military Outfit. They do not have an infantary, a Navy or an Air Force to go after. They do not have a state either. They are like parasites. The key to reduce terrorism is actionable intellegence, surgical strikes, local support and a local face.
Terrorism can NEVER be eliminated. It has be reduced. You will always find radicals. The idea is to reduce it to such a degree that it does not disrupt normal life.

Also, I am a Muslim following Islam...I am not a terrorist...
As I said, It is important that common sense prevails in India. We do not want the radicals on either side to be the decision makers.

Bhuddha, If that were to be true, then 100% of terrorism should be caused by Islam. But you very well know that is NOT the case.
It is important that common sense prevails in India. We do not want the radicals on either side to be the decision makers.
- Kashmiris need to give up on the Idea of freedom (Separate Country) - India needs to give up on the Idea of "Entire Kashmir" - Pakistan needs to give up on the idea of "Entire Kashmir"
Practical solution is to have LoC recognized as the international Border. We are spending too much time, effort, money, lives on this issue. It makes absolutely no financial sense.
And there is no reason for us to believe the politicians who promise they can deliver. We had the Congress in power and the BJP...There was no difference.
The money wasted there can be spent elsewhere. And it is not the government's money. It is OUR money !!!

let the pakistan agree to LOC as international border...that will never happen....they have made the heaven on earth to hell on earth in the name of freedom struggle and whole kashmiris are parroting what their masters across the border say....just tell stories how people on POK are living and what is there status in pakistan...even if LOC is made the border pak will have POK as its and still spread terror in kashmir....only solution declare war and finish off Pak and get back POK once for all....whoever kashmiri wants to go to pak let him go

Mubeen, - For that we need International concensus and international guarantees on the Border recognition (UN RESOLUTION). - The moderates in Pakistan are sick of their miliatry spending under the disguise of Kashmir - That is what makes the Pakistan Military stronger than the Civilian Leadership. - The time is perfect NOW.

Mubeen, I couldn't agree more with you. We have to annex pakistan back into our country both by a decisive use of force against all opposing elements while at the same time with total freedom for kashmiris to go anywhere they chose. Many pakistanis also would support a unification because deep down they do have a legacy of Indian Identity.

Dear Imran, I appreciate your practical thinnking and I presume the final outcome may be in this lines. 1. LOC will be converted into international border with minor adjustsments here and there to suit both army's deployment perspective. However it will be loosely held by both sides and for all practical purpose, it will be irrelevent. 2. Both army will withdraw from inlands 3. Dual citizenship will be allowed for kashmiries on both sides with restricted voting rights. 4. Equal autonomy will be given to both sides of Kashmir. In this way egos of both India & Pakistan can be taken careof and Kashmiries can lead peaceful life.
It will definitely help both india and pakistan if kashmir is open for tourists.
Pakistan tried its best to promote religious terrorism but might have realized it is not for their best when it started backfiring. Now pak must cooperate with india and take that place to the future.
