N-Deal
by abdul wahid on Aug 24, 2007 12:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Left are not antinational. But they should bold enough to oppose the N-Deal. They should differentiate the national opposition party BJP and international enemy USA. BJP is our national party. They are Indians. But once we allow USA and its friends to enter in India, again it will take decades to drive them away. So left parties should join with BJP to drive away USA.

There is one thing which we cant ignore.
If we choose to go ahead with the Nuclear Deal we will face an acute shortage of our scientists as there will be brain drain. Plus we will lose our self sufficiency and capability which we are good at and have abundant resources. President Kalam talked about developing Thorium for nuclear energy indegeniously. Nobody is thinking about it. Our goverment stands to spend upto 150 billion dollars over next decades for the nuclear deal. We can atleast pay 5 times the salary our scientists are getting to make them motivated and use the money to develop nuclear technology indegeniously. Why depend on US to make ourselves at the mercy of them. Our market and growth is strong. There is no way we will be isolated. We werent then and would not be now.

The terminology used in the agreement is not clear. That may disrupt US-India relations in future.India interprestes in india's favour, and america interpretes it differently..Then as an Indian you are interpreting it as good..But agreement must be in clear terms..Both countries must interprete it uniquely..

Probably you do not know about americans. The most cunning foxes in the world. If they give one they will take ten. Do not forget about this. Who knows they may give technology to India and dump nuclear wastes in India. Please do not believe americans. It doesnt mean that you should believe Russians or chinese. Try to understand and be practical. As far as possible try to protect your country from outsiders and be self-sufficient, develop new technology on your own, exploit other sources or energy generation, prevent energy wastes.

You are very right my friend. We can explore and research on various other clean energy resources plus our own indegenious nuclear energy rather than depend on another imperial country at the mercy of them.

Kapil my friend. Let our government pull up their socks first in speedy implementation of our current projects. Even if we achieve half as speed as required we wont need such aid ever. We need energy and we have ample resources in our country for that. Let us correct our mindsets first instead of relying on some other country for precious requirement as energy.

Mayawati orders closure of Reliance Fresh stores.

Now political parties and people understand what the Left says against the FDI and Corporates in retail sector...
2 crores poor retailers will be finished and 30-40 corporates will conquer the space. We will not have any control on them. BJP and BSP take the steps what the Left has taken.

Tks for the Link. The language of Hyde Act is tough but at the same time you have to be tough ,atleast on the paper, when you are talking about such a contentious issue.

Otherwise USA will be charged by its freinds and foes alike to be too lenient on India for no apparent purpose.
