There is one thing which we cant ignore. If we choose to go ahead with the Nuclear Deal we will face an acute shortage of our scientists as there will be brain drain. Plus we will lose our self sufficiency and capability which we are good at and have abundant resources. President Kalam talked about developing Thorium for nuclear energy indegeniously. Nobody is thinking about it. Our goverment stands to spend upto 150 billion dollars over next decades for the nuclear deal. We can atleast pay 5 times the salary our scientists are getting to make them motivated and use the money to develop nuclear technology indegeniously. Why depend on US to make ourselves at the mercy of them. Our market and growth is strong. There is no way we will be isolated. We werent then and would not be now.
