There is a popular saying"IF YOU ARE NOT A COMMUNIST AT THE AGE OF 18,YOU HAVE 'NO HEART' & IF YOU ARE STILL A COMMUNIST AFTER 40 YOU HAVE 'NO HEAD'! Imagine,all the present communist leaders in India are well above 40!! So,you can't expect anything better from them.In modern age of today,I don't think communism has any relevance.Their only role is to shed 'crocodile tears' from time to time!!!
The PM should go ahead with the deal. The left can only bark, can't bite. They will not like to go in for any snap poll. They are making noises and opposing the deal with the support of China. Free availability of power will boost the growth rate in India. China is afraid of economically strong India and using Left parties to oppose the deal.

Friends, who are these left that are opposing the Nuke deal - lets get to some history about them.. 1. These left are the same people who had got several Indian freedom fighter arrested during World War 2, 1945-46, at Soviet Russia's instance.
2. these Left are the very same people who had taken China's side when 1962 Indo-Chinese war broke out. They even raised fun for Chinese soldiers in India.
3. Left also worked against Netaji Subhas Bose's war for Indian freedom.
4. Today they want to stop the Nuke deal the the instance of China's Communist party.
Can we Indians trust these very same Left with India's national interest ? Think yourself after carefully going thru history.

Remember, the left parties democratically came to the power in Bengal, Kerala and tripura. In kerala they were in power in spite of the Nehru's charisma. Today the UPA govt is formed only with the support of Left.

Ronen Sen is absolutely right. Neither Parliament nor any political body other than the Cabinet has any authority re: agreements with a foreign country. Since the Indian cabinet has approved it the issue is closed. Karat, Yechury & Co. can be turned out of Parliament for not knowing the Constitution and the basic laws governing such agreements & creating an unnecessary storm in a tea-cup

No, as a civised country, the freedom is not meant to hurt other religious worshippers idols. The people like MF Husian will can only be bearable or living in India because as already stated in my earlier messages on various occasions, in India, to continue a true democratic way of functioning, we have to go too long on cultural, ideological and behavioural ways.

Hussain is living out of India by force & not by choice. He wants to come back to India to again start insulting our culture. Right now in Gulf he does not have any guts to paint something which will hurt the sentiment of people over there.
lets accept it... we have not been able to develop our own efficient nuclear power plant technology.
now the time has come that we need more and more energy for our economy. Now the left want us to believe that w should be self reliant.
This could possibly mean shutting out the world and vowing to eat grass if they block food for us.
Are we ready to eat grass ? No we are not. Our economy has to run. It has to soar infact. We have been so incompetent with our own technical development that even if this deal hurts our self-respect.... we well deserve it.

Please take this issue like it: We want to get employement for a livlihood, for that purpose, whether you will sell your house or house members for your own selifsh attitudes. We are selling our motherland's security and integrity as well as soverignity by accepting such type of agrreements, prepared and passed by the Governments who have no guts to present it and get it ratified from the members of the Parliament of the day. These they are doing for the selifsh political or economical motives and god knows what extras they are getting for signing these type of agreements unilataterlly.

For what? They are telling the truth and wanted a full fledged discussion on all issues in Parliament and all the international treaties to be get ratified in Parliament? Is this the way of talking Mr. Critc and all the crticism stated and mentioned in all the fellow readers here in this column. As an Indian (I don't know because you are hiding your identity) we have to be self respect, and try to be an Indian first and Indians should not bow down their heads in shame and should not be standing as a dependent of any foreign countries. its absolutely correct. They are the Traitors, why anyone should make them important in first place. see who is not happy if the deal gets thru, CHINA and PAKISTAN above all our Dear Left parties. China & pakistan are sworn enemies of india and communists are treading the similar path to ensure that deal nuclear deal does not happen. U can easily make out who is the enemy of the country within.
