Friends, who are these left that are opposing the Nuke deal - lets get to some history about them.. 1. These left are the same people who had got several Indian freedom fighter arrested during World War 2, 1945-46, at Soviet Russia's instance.
2. these Left are the very same people who has taken China's side when 1967 Indo-Chinese war broke out.
3. Today they want to stop the Nuke deal the the instance of China's Communist party.
Can we Indians trust these very same Left with India's national interest ? Think yourself after carefully going thru history.

Nuclear technology is not to solve the power crisis of India, rather to control all its nuclear assetts by USA. I personally believe it nuclear reactor be established in INdia. But other side of the deal which is more dangerous must be considered more SERIOUSLY.
If nuclear reactor would have been best way to solve the power crisis, then all developed and developing country must establish many nuclear reactors -----this is not the real scenario.
While setting up priorities between two almost identical issues of importance to the Nation, well, any simple wisdom will give a priority to National Security over an energy issue! If Nation is lost, what do we do with enormous energy? Further, the quantum of energy that is likely to be obtained, if at all we succeed amidst several risks in addition to the one of National security, is very meager and that too without any assurance of sustained supply of energy for ever! Under the circumstances, it does not warrant much thoughts to decide in favour of National security above all! How national security is in peril can be inferred from the sustained arrogant and dominant behaviours of US to annexe any nation for its own benefits at any cost by using its might as the world history reflects! Its illegitimate, unauthorized and illegal interference in internal affairs of Afghanisthan, Iraq, India-Pakistan and Israel-Palestinian and also the threatened interference in the matters of North and South Korea and Iran etc., are concrete evidences of its wickedness without any valued high moralistic principles! The entire world inclusive of a majority of population of U.S. itself opposed to its such activities of vandalism!
Result is sufferings, miseries and gruesome deaths of millions of innocent and along with rapid growth of terrorist network every where now all over the world! The people all over, suffer due to such terrorist activities! Neither the world benefited, nor our nation! U.S. is certainly benefited by oil and other expansion of business in rehabilitations in the affected countries, taking all necessary precautions against terrorism in their own country! Thus U.S. is most untrustworthy nation and we have to stand losing all as a silent spectator, when they turn against our interests to fetch all the fruits of such Nuke agreement, either by playing cunning tactics by the unknown catches in the agreement or by arrogantly and boldly violating the terms and conditions of the agreement, as I said earlier, U.S. is a cunning wolf, as is evident from the world history! Its part in the world is blood stained! There is no necessity to be a communist to see this simple fact of danger to our nation! Perhaps, our top brains are under threats of brain drains as seen in other vital issues too!
Japan/South Kores have not doen a Nuclear test at even though they are surrounded by China and N/Korea. So how does the threat percoption of India require this option in future... Just look at Islamabad and New Delhi. They don't even need N option to destroy each other they are so close and conventional war is enough. As far as threat preception from China goes it's better to be in the US camp to neutralize that. COME PEOPLE do U think US will allow China to attack India if INDIA HAS IBM/INTEL/SUN and other corporations which are US assets. Also US does not want India to attack China where in also US has more assets than India... Its foolish to be isolated from US. In fact U don't have the economic independence to even think about that.
India should not allow anybody born in Kerela/West Bengal to work in any corporations in the other part of India. That should finish the LEFT which is kinda NO-RIGHT behaving at the moment...NAM was a stupid idea from Nehru and not the Marists have the stupediest idea. Just look at West Germany/Japan/South Korea who alinged with US. They are the most prosporous nations in current times better than China/Inbdia combined..

mummud rohit uddin would love that. however, it would make sense if there is full debate and vote in the parliament before india goes ahead with it. i feel certain that the bjp will support it if the debate reveals all is good. congress is making a great tactical error in not putting it to vote.
India has a potential for 45,000 MW of wind electricity and 45,000 MW of solar energy. Some other estimates say that wind energy potential is 75,000 MW. India is already 4th largest producer of wind electricity after Denmark, Germany and USA. It is roughly about 7000 MW. India has a large storage of Thorium, which can also be used for power generation, once the fast breeder reactor start working. BTW, India is Number One in fast breeder technology. The nuclear deal with USA will allow the Indian companies to buy nuclear technologies from USA and other countries. It will also allow India to buy the fuel, namely uranium from aboad. India does not have uranium of its own so we will have to depend on others for the supply. The countries that produce uranium have their own organisation which control the nuclear business around the world, just like OPEC controls the oil business. Now if India invests a lot of money in building these nuclear reactors, we will still have to depend on the supply of uranium. The problem is we will always have to listen to them, they will decide the price of uranium and the export policy etc. Also the policies of various countries will change with the change in their internal politics. For example, the labor opposition of Australia has declared that they will scrap the supply policy once they win the election. So once we are in this game, there is no way out, we have to accept the terms of the suppliers. Thus, this deal will not bring us self sufficiency; we will have to depend on others, just like we have to do it for oil. Thus until and unless we become self-sufficient in our energy need we will always be manipulated by others. This deal is not so much about energy security; it is more to do about real politics. Indo-US trade is heavily tilted towards India. Some may feel that this deal will bring some balance to that. However as far as the energy security of India is concerned, my belief is that India may not be so secured after all.
