NUCLEAR DEAL vs HONEST PM
by Subramaniam Ragunathan on Aug 18, 2007 12:23 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After many decades India produced two truly honest and well qualified and well meaning leaders. One is retired without being offered a second term which he ricghtly deserved, thanks to DMK and lefteists. Now the political opoortunists are gunning for the second honest man, this time conviniently hiding their ideology. Long live India which had become a senior citizen with 60 years of independence and God should save the great nation and its subjects.

Many of Punjabis in the army had laid down their lives for this country. They have been unique and contributed in our development in more ways than one, but many of the war room secrets have been leaked by Punjabi Generals for considerations.

Ya, they do get turned on too frequently sometimes blabering abnormally, but the frontiers of this country were guarded by the sikhs in particular and north indians in general. Talking of brains, a brainy southie is also a crooked of the lot.

Yes a couple of them have found their names in the books of traitors. One related to Army or Navy chief, not sure, the other a naive ISRO scientist gave a few sketches of rocket tech. a decade back, though they are yet to be proved.

Raghu, while whole heartedly concurring with the first observation of yours, the second individual you are referring to is Sri.Singh, he appears to be soft and straight, Soft yes but honest 'No'. Appearance is deceptive. He has no business to agree to the moratorium, while left are scoundrels, first rate traitors, singh is too close to sonia for the country's good.

well said bhaskaran ji. singh is a media myth, at least so far as honesty goes. lying comes quite easy to him actually if you observe him a little closer. but that should be no surprise given his party's sordid character and history. he can not stand in the same room with kalam. further, mm singh was no architect of 1991 reforms - another media myth. the decision to liberalize the economy wasn't an academic one of the kind a powerless economic professor singh can make; the decision was a momentous one that only a pm with a real power and real political will can make, given the state of the mind of the country then, and that person was narsimha rao who too could only justify it just because thre was no other option when the largest creditors like the imf and the world bank were breathing down goi's neck.

Wonderful observation. You are spot on in your assessment of our PM. It is the media which present people with tags, Indira Gandhi would have done much, much better to Singh minus corruption afcourse.

If MM had not lied, then he has understood the text, if he had understood the text both in its spirit and content then he had lied to the entire nation. One of those things is obviously true, either way, sonia is in problems cos she has a mission unfulfilled i.e. Italian connection.

Politics
by Anurag Sharma on Aug 17, 2007 11:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The role of opposition is to point out mistakes and errors in the ruling party, no matter what. This is really helpful as it helps the ruling party to improve.

Its good that political parties are quarelling and discussing the deal. This will force some amendments and make the deal more solid from Indian Point of view.

My dear friend, have you read the text of the agreement, do you really know where the lacuna is? See the left on the one hand in a bad play maker and thrives on issues cos for a country like ours issues are dime a dozen, secondly the left also play a role of de-stabliser and politics of opportunism.
should we know that there is a big give away in the deal, can any one of us stop sonia-singh from executing the deal why all of us here with all our respective influences can hardly be of any use. So the key detractor, the left an unworthy opposition sometimes can be force though detrimental in nature.

Abusing any one is the easiest thing to do on these forums !!!
If you abuse someone, someone else will abuse you.It doesnt need any guts at all, neither intelligence.

I wonder why we cannot have a debate like civilized people.

Nuclear Deal
by desiLaunda on Aug 17, 2007 11:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Nuclear deal was initiated by BJP and concluded by Congress..Due to this deal India and US r comming most close. It is in interest of India and US to be friends for long term.
I do not know why communists who r bent on turning Bengal into bangladesh with free immigration bangladeshi muslims oppose any progressive step in india.
Traitors who supported china in 62 war should be sent to siberia

Do you think we should go for polls for before any such agreement? Then we will have elections every month. We have given them 5 years to run the government and we will scrutinise their works after those five years only.

MM Singh is a apoloitical moron! He is the weakest PM of India, who is not even member of Lok Sabha, thus NOT directly elected by people.

No wonder he is talking BS, instead of political talk.

Not Congress But it was BJP
by Lalatendu Deo on Aug 17, 2007 11:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It was BJP who brought the two countries close. You may remember our Jaswant Singh even bent his knees to go all out to get a chance to talk with Talbert, a Junior Secretary in the State Department.

The beginning of all these were of course BJP. And now, they have to oppose congress any way. But I feel the credit goes to BJP who brought us to a higher pedestal from where we could deal with any one on equal terms, almost.
