With Zaheer, RP Singh, and till recently Irfan Pathan and Ashish Nehra, India have had a fair share of southpaws in their bowling attack. Richards explains:
They were at the perfect, impressionable age to admire and wish to emulate another left-handed cricketer. Wasim's final legacy to cricket may be across a disputed border in another country.
- never wanted to let down Atal Bihari Vajpayee - had "great regards" for him - had to cut a "sorry figure" - "stabbed in the back" by Pervez Musharraf - "I was never in favour of a war with India"
Why all this tamasha now, 8 years later?
Why did he not say all this to Clinton after the Kargil war was lost by them, in July 1999?
After all he did go all the way to US to broker a deal for himself, didn't he?
Who will believe him now!!!
The Pakistan Government's duplicity is amply evident.
-- it supported the US against terrorism on one border, and -- it continued to fuel terrorism on the other J&K (Jammu & Kashmir)border.
Over the years nearly five hundred thousand Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) have been made to leave the land of their birth and live like refugees in various parts of India. Since 1948 over twenty thousand civilians have lost their lives in J&K because of the Muslim fundamentalists of Pakistan.
During President Clinton's State visit to India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the then Indian Prime Minister had pointed out that religious terrorists -- which Islamabad refered to as freedom fighters -- had been shamelessly intruding Indian territory for the past 54 years (now sixty).
Prime Minister Vajpayee had even said that islamic terrorism would get out-of-hand and engulf the world, but President Clinton preferred to put this crucial issue on the back-burner.

civilian governments have no hold on the army in pakistan.pakistan can never progress as long as army takes over the civilian elected govt.america is always supporting pakistan army takeover.once america plays the true role of supporting democracy.then only peace will be restored.iraq was attacked because ruled by a dictator, who was not in good books.on the other side america supported gen.musharraf.if u.s.a thinks that musharraf can control taleban or al-quaida is incorrect.seen of hatred has been sown and it will take hundered years to establish peace.because some one with hidden hand supports terrorists.terrorism in u.s.a and europe has different weightage than in india.musharraf is also one of the terrorists, who toppled the elected govt.in pakistan.pakistani people must not support him in next election.nawaz sharif is better p.m. for pakistan than benazir bhutto.he won with great majority.people of pakistan are the fate deciders of their leaders.now is the right time.they must liqidate terrorists from their soil.terrorists have implied support from pak.army.
How right Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was.
Now, there is ample proof that what was (and is still) happening in J&K is not a freedom struggle but Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
At last, the US administration has been openly saying that since it does look like Pakistan cannot rein-in the islamic terrorists, the US would need keep all options open and may even have to make military strikes on the militants holed up in the no man's land or tribal areas between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Just two months to go before the sixth anniversary of 9/11 (September 11, 2001) all this must be viewed a sign we will soon be free of the tyranny of Pakistan.

How do you exactly define power????Manomohan singh has the power of his academics, of his knowledge as an economist...He has the power to resign and leave if he cannot bring change to India because he is not a Power Hungry Career politician.....He is much better than your Vajpai's and Advanis who will spew hatred on Muslims and then call Jinnah their father if it brings them to power,,,,Even today at 80 yrs of Age Mr. Advani is hankering to be the next PM if the NDA wins,,,and that is because he is a full time power hungry politician, and that is why he will not hesitate to engineer riots on one hand or call Jinnah as the a modern secular leader on the other if it brings him to power...
