this article on the rise of the no of ppl. headed for divourse is a sad face of development .... is this not to be taken as a wake up call to all the brothers and sisters workin their brains off and earnin their big money to sit back and think of where are they headed for....pl. set ur priorities before ur are left alone ..
People do not post-pone living ... very one thinks that By such n such a time we have to accomlish such n such things and thn start living... Well...the happiness is not in reaching the ultimate destiny but it is in th journy as well... I know my uncle who worked like hell.. only mantra that he had was, he has to retire well and then start living a good life...but unfortunately, working like hell has taken a toll, the day he retired he was hospitalised couple of times and the money he has earned all went to hospital ...by that time childern are grown up and gone .... He is ALONE now.
There is another side to this coin - one that's conveniently overlooked.
IT sector grooms earn well. Their work commitments are high. They become easy targets for unscrupulous wives, who are aware of their capacity to pay.
These shady women exploit and misuse laws like 498A & DV Act to extract money in the name of divorce.
In today's world, divorce is a full blown business, not an act of compulsion.
Assume that laws let me brand you a thief on the strength of my words alone. Assume that I have the need or greed for money, and you have the ability to pay. If I had no scruples, what would I do?
The answer to the above is the foundation of the divorce industry.
Do away with alimony, and skewed laws, and see how quickly divorce becomes a rarity.
As for Pramila Nesargi, and her computer-impotence theory, she appears to be in a dark world of blissful ignorance. Laughable, and pitiable!!

This is the truth in 98% of the cases. By the way isn't Pramila too a Divorcee? Did she have that computer Problem and laid the blame on her husband? Impotency is it only a problem with the males not with women?
Renuka the main Family Breaker in the Country, she too is a divorcee and her daugher too is a divorcee. Like Mother - Like - Daughter extort money to fund their political ambitions, films and properties!!
We are born, we live and die one day.. this is sure to happen whether he works 24 x 7 x 365 or enjoys his heaven regularly. Women are are prone to fast sex attractions than man. This is nature. Where as wife n hubby culture, their bond gets overpassed by these attractions that are unavoidable. Also the fantasies of romance in both diverts them to new imaginative understandings n implementations on matters of sex, love, care. So one has to make LIFE n LOVE more preferable than any else.
What the problem in it then. This is the positive indication for the upwelling improvement of the nation. Did we have noticed any such persistent gain from the existing so called sacred practice. So then why so much hujpuj. Are bhai if somebody is going for a divorce then he/she must be having for some second option otherwise found out some option to sustain. Why the nation should be worried for this educated professionals.
We indian are trying to be in two culture at same time., In INDIA parents of any girls are always looking well educated, good post and salaried person, even if the girl is a simple BA and MA.,we should stop this practice and should look for a better human rather then better salary, In INDIA we call it a Good family, what is good family i never understood, rich person speaking two english words are from Good family, even father and brother and person it self a corrupt and earning money with corruption, Its all because we all are materialistic, and trying to copy western, so its normal to get divorced in so called west industrialized world/. I am living in Germany since long time, I lOVE INDIA and my culture, FAMILY system is the best system,

bang on target ....we copy west and materialism too much ....there is no word like compromise in today's world ....
ur comment on the definition of good human being as perceived by girl and her family members is also very true ...there are very few girls who want to go for sober and balanced persons ...they want to go for flamboyant braggarts ...there is more lust for power and money ...and in the end they think that they can teach those boys how to love anyway one learns from mistakes only

The Focus is shifting dramatically. A 50 year old woman want to look like 20 year old one. The FOCUS from being that of a "HAPPY FAMILY" is shifting to "RICH FAMILY" or "BADE LOG". The IT money is taking it's toll.
IT IS INDEED VERY SAD THAT DIVORCE RATE ARE GOING UP WITH I.T SECTOR EMPLOYEES.IT IS BOUND TO HAPPEN HOW COUPLE CAN BE HAPPY IF THEY WORK LATE NIGHT EVERYDAY. THIS PROBLEM CAN BE SOLDVED IF WOMEN AVOID WORKING I.T SECTOR. BECAUSE HAPPINESS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY. SOME WOMEN ARE WORKING EVEN IF THEIR HUSBANDS ARE EARNING IN LAKHS. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG. IF THIS PROBLEM IS SOLVED EARLY OUR SOCIETY WILL GO THE WESTERN WAY WITH NO CULTURAL IDENTITY.
