That is showing them. Who is them ? THe 85% ?The 3% cannot rule over the 85% through the 12% forever. It is just a matter of time when the 15% will have to fall in line !!
Justice Pasayat and Panta, sirs i bow in honor to both of u. i better go to supreme court from next tuesday to offer my prayers than a temple since you guys are becoming the nation's TRUE saviours. three cheers, charnamrat and flowers to u. u really deserve to be offered our most revered charansparsh. wee need Gods like you in this country. please be Ram and get rid of all the ravans in our Lanka (Parliament)
If the people of this country can hope for a better future, it's only because of you. The politicians of this country have taken the people for granted and will adopt any means to retain power.
All the tears they are shedding for the so called OBCs are crocodile tears. Hopefully, our brothers understand this and oppose it. Just to quote an example, I have seen my father struggle a lot in his life. I belong to the brahmin community (so called upper caste, I do not believe in casteism). But still, my father spent his early 20s and 30s struggling to make ends meet. As a small child, I have seen it and it's etched in my memory. So, there is no caste for poverty. But, today we are financially better of because he was able to come out of the bad situation with his own strength and determination. He provided us valuable education which helped us stand on our own feet.
Point is - no reservation will help. One should struggle hard to come up in life and achieve something. There is no easy money.
These politicians might have found a way to earn easy money. But they turn their face away from their conscience. Atleast I'm proud that I dont have to do that. When I die, I will be at peace. Can today's politician die in peace? Only god can answer that.
My sincere request for my fellow Indian brothers is - dont fall prey to these carrots. The politicians just want to use you for the votes. Success waits for those who pursue it. Work hard and you will achieve it.
most of the students in INDIA r the victims of reservation.. our appeal to supreme court , that u r our last hope for students, only u can save the future of bright students..
ACCEPTING AND ALLOWING RESERVATION MEANS THAT WE ACCEPT, BELIEVE AND CONFIRM THAT THE PEOPLE FROM THE SO CALLED LOWER CASTES ARE SUB-HUMAN AND SO BACKWARD THAT THEY CANNOT COMPETE ON THEIR OWN AND NEED SPECIAL HELP!!
These reservations helped only 5%!! Those who got richer in first generation because of these reservations only are utilizing them again. One more thing, if this Arjun singh is so much interested in reservations, why not start from Parliament?? For increasing the reservations for lower castes, even for ladies (if not a whopping 33%, little more above the current level) every political party come in a single line to oppose... if it is reservations in education or private sector, they have no objections..!! As long as their 'kursi' is safe, they play with any thing else.
Here my colleagues argue that, attempts are being made to turn pro-reservationists against Supreme court.. They say facts are not coming out.. Why not Rediff publish full judgement / atleast more details of Supreme court verdict rather than bits and pieces? I came to know that Supreme court is not fully against any reservations.. It only questioned 1. the validity of caste census: not recent census but very old and suspicious.2. What are the motives of Government in not exempting creamy-layer? If IPS / IAS officers belonging to reservations categories, earn lots through out their career, and.. Are we in support of reservations for children of such rich people? In which case, poor and real needy people who need to have reservations, cannot compete with these rich people who enjoy reservations. In my opinion, 1. let there be reservations, but for the bottom-most sections of our society, need not necessarily be on caste-basis. 2. What ever the reservations are there, they are sufficient. Effort should in the direction such that, the fruits of this reservation system reach only the deserving people.

no oneis against reservation. people are against 1 sick vote bank mentality of congress and other parties. 2 how to help poor people genuinely as creamy layer is eating up reservation for last 60 years
so why govt is not speaking for that. we are indian and no one want to eat up alone.
Well, I do not get carried away by Congress(I) (here I for Italy :-))'s lolli-pop game of throwing reservations to get votes, nor the opposite way ..ie., against reservations. Reservations need to be there for the bottom most sections of our society, but not for officers and bearaucrats .... to summarize, reservations with exemption to creamy layers. My second point is, what ever the reservations are there, they are 200% sufficient when properly implement.. no need to increase! Lastly, ok, we are appreciating S.Court, but why are we not lamenting the Congress's bloody politics? Let us be wise.. let there be ..1. Opportunity for even sons of small landless famrers/daily labour equal to that of any other. 2. System should not be such that, people who are rich and able.. they should be barred from utilizing quotos..
