It seems you are thinking that the smart & intellegent students are coming only from general category & they are only intellegent?.
What is your opinion about who are from general category( getting lower %) & paying more capitation fees to get admission in Medical colleges ? are they liable to do practise ?
I think they are liable to do practise only bz they are from General Category ?
CHANGE MIND & KEEP EYE OPEN - SEE AROUND YOU. HOW MANY DOCTORS / MANAGEMENT GURU / ENGINEERS SERVING TO INDIA ABOUT 90% WORKING IN ABROAD.THEN HOW INDIAN WILL SHINE?
Arjun is unnessaryly taken this thing up. Now its a big ego problem for him. First of all the basis under which they had increased the OBC quota was wrong. Mr. Arjun Singh did not do his homework well. He thought since its an OBC issue no one will stop this. His guess was right. The jokers in the LS and RS passed the bill without going into the finer details nor questioning. These jokers dont have guts. They are all sychophants and just believe in votes and do not have any values. ARJUN SINGH is the biggest joker.
V.P Singh played with the lives of so many people when he introduced Mandal commision. See what has happened to him. He has lost every thing. He is continuously on dialysis. ARJUN SINGH SHOULD ALSO LEARN A LESSON. He will also not be spared for the injustice he is doing to the people just for his personal gain. He has no interest in the welfare of OBC's. He has his own personal agenda.

I do not mind arjunsighs cheapness for vote bankpolitics. he is a politician and it was expected from him but it pains me when an educated person like manmohan is heading the nation and he is silent on this kind of cheap vote bank politics. i had great respect for manmohan singh when became primeminister but looking at his silence on such issues he has proved that he only respect his chair and no respect for justice otherwise he could have resigned on this issue in the beginning itself saying that this is a populist issue and he canot support this issue. at least he has lost all respect from the people like me which he gained as a fionance minister and as a honest person.
Well%u2026 its a legal process %u2013 govt. has challenged the rights of SC and argued the SC and not pass the final order on the issue and the matter needed to be referred to a Constitution Bench.
So let FC celebrate the SCs directive but they have to refer to the %u2018Constitution Bench%u2019 lets see what%u2019s happens there.
Eventhough this SCs uppercaste judges rejects govt plea they have to refer this issue to Constitution Bench%u2019.. so guys wait and be patience%u2026 eventually truth will win%u2026 if we kicked this uppercaste judges%u2026.
SC knows that censes on caste will divide India further%u2026 still its playing game%u2026 do the hell with such judges%u2026

this seems to be the only way left for you illiterates to compete with educated lot. Guys, only long term solution is to work hard, not this easy route. Why do u think brahmins make their children wake up at 5am and make them go thro rigorous rituals.

Judges' are not SC judge just because of their caste but capabilities...if u have capability (pro-reservation)..ask for facilities and then compete...do not try to be smart with RESERVATION STICk...NO PRIVATE organisation who has to compete with MNCs will tkae u just to spoil themselves and..if u think india is growing and u should ...hard work is only message
the supreme court verdict is just a small hurdle.. the people of india will rise and bring reservations for backward castes and fight against these upper classes until there is equality in indian society

Veejay - reservations do not make anyone intelligent. Companies hire from IITs and IIMs because they think that these institutes have very bright people. They will still go these institutes but will only hire from the non-reserved categories. The SC/ST students of IITs/IIMs have done much worse in their careers than upper caste students from B and C category institutes. Only a fool believes that reservations help. The only thing that helps is hard work and intelligence - not fake IIT/IIM degrees.
Please mind your critics, since it is a very sensitive issue when you talk about bandh, looting public this kind of remarks should be avoided, here nobody finds a way how this issue can be resolved, though people are shouting on the other side.
People have the power to access the media are able to reach their voice across the globe, I would say this is also a part of discremnation and not ready to listen the other poor people voice.
People here are highly advanced in terms of politically, economically and socially peopel who are not able to get the above (irrespective of their cast) lost their voice.
Be careful, your victory is your other fellow citizens failure.

what do u mean reservation to poor?? does it happen in any nation?? nonsense.. the backward castes need reservation to let the upper castes know that they cannot continue calling themselves upper caste and that all men are equal in society

Bull shit, who called themselves uppercaste, did anybody blow the trumpet, not atleast in today's post independent era.....Come on,it is 2007,and almost 60 years after independence, with 60 years of reservation policies, and without any support, whatever the govt says that they do with interest for these people will not reach them, unless they are properly treated, properly educated right from their childhood.....What measures has the govt taken to ensure the continuance of the education of these people.Do you know the school dropout statitistics in rural community? What measures has the govt taken to resolve this?Ofcourse,Sarva Shikshi abhiyan, most of which again does not reach properly.Shouting for something isn't the issue, finding out if the issue/law is properly implemented, for the right cause through the right means is even more important.Brother,a step walked is worth a miles talked!!!!!!!!Please let our politicians walk atleast a step first, then we'll listen to whatever they talk!!!!

Upper Caste is always Upper in all aspects. This reservation make upper caste more upper and you from lower caste go to hell. Reservation is not the solution of equalty in socity. If you guys have any guts then meet in open competition, why always look for resevation. If Reservation has to be implemented then implement in financial basis, not by reserving seats but by giving financcial aids such as free edcucation, books etc.

Aravind I totally agree with you. Most of our Indian public want to move ahead in their life and career using shortcuts like reservations. Congress has screwed up the whole country and is constantly doing some thing stupid like this for votes. They want it implemented immediatley so that they can have an edge in the coming UP elections and also do some saving grace for the party which has benn largely criticised for its policies be it anything. Thank god there is a Supreme Court which doesn't dance to the tunes of this Congress politicians. Reservation should be provided only for the economically backward sections and not to SC/ST, MBC,OBC etc. Veejay, if you don't know anything just shut up. There is reservation for poor people in many countries. If you guys have the guts come and say that we don't want reservations, and we want our selection to be based on merit only. You guys don't have self-confidence and you always want to live on governemnt sops like reservation, since you don't need to study hard like the otehr get into premier institutes. You guys want every thing for free.
The Supreme Court order is only a small bump in the path towards changing the power structure in the society. Its nobody's argument that reservations is NOT about giving opportunities to the under-priviledged to come up. It is about the landed middle castes like the Yadavas , Vokalliggas and the like wanting to increase their influence on the society. Smart politicians like Mayawati are aware that the Dalits are under as much threat as the Brahmins and is trying to build a coalition of upper and lower castes. The upper castes , however , do not realise that Dalits are their biggest allies in the end and that if upper castes start treating Dalits with compassion and fairness, the threat of the land owning middle castes - who have money but are very violent can be met. Unfortunately - most upper castes continue to believe in rituals and practices which are insulting to lower castes. Its in the interest of upper castes to launch a struggle to remove all caste identities ; and the threat of reservations will go on its own.

The Supreme Court should demand from the government the proof of the current reservation policy having worked as intended, with back up statistics.

Anil Kumar, you are a stupid OBC. If you deserve, under the same reservation you will get. But, only the rich cousins of your so called OBC are going to block your way.
You will be fighting and dreaming of a big reservation. Time and again you guys do not want to work and get accolades without any hard work. Do not wait for biscuits to be given. Work hard.

well why can't we have a fair census to fins your OBC numbers? What is so terrible about that? Why so much of anguish?Rather than provoking people to have agitation and fight, why not help in conducting a census to find your actual numbers?
