I think NRN's intentions were genuine. It is just that he used wrong words to express those intentions. What he would have meant was that he did not want foreigners to feel UNEASY with the guilt of not being able to give justice to what is being sung. But I think instead of the word "UNEASY", he used the word "EMBARASSEMENT" which was not liked by the people. But yes, he did a mistake coz he did that just for the sake of a handful of foreigners who would not understand the song. What about the other majority of Indians who understood and may have wanted to listen it in words? Nevertheless, he has apologized so there is no need to create a big fuss out of it. He should be forgiven now. WE have other pressing issues at hand to resolve. Don't we?

Imagine you an educated indian going abroad to Uganda or China or the USA for a job. Imagine the local employees singing their national anthem. How would you feel being an EDUCATED indian?Nothing right ? In fact you would appreciate their culture. But our Mr.Murthy feels that an Educated foreignr would feel embarassed when they hear the national anthem of the host country they live in. Mr. Murthy you have erred in your judgement. You have lost the moral right to preach. So dose your wife. I now assume that Mr.Murthy would have felt sick in his stomach when he listened to people singing the national anthem of their countires while he was touring so he did the instrumental version at his home country to eduate the ignorant firangi's.

though we all know his intentions are clear. And he apologized knowing his mistake. But i doubt none of the politicians who are yelling against him, can actually recite the national anthem correctly even from reading a book.
Let me give you an example. NM & His Trust donated 1.5 crore (good thing is they didn't gave it in cash, but built an excellent bulding) for fever hospital in Hyd. And the idiotic politicians just didn't used it for months even after it's completion complaining that there is no equipment. Get that? Not just building, they also want the building tobe equipped with freely funded apparatus and furniture. These are the kind of idiots who don't want to loose a chance to criticize him.
Politicians are the same except a few ! and definitely these stupids don't fall under those few.

Its been our best way to put down someone who has changed the destiny of India in the global market. Infosys is arguably the best run compnay in India and has provided millions of jobs to our own people. One comment by Mr. Murthy and the whole country is going Gaga over it. What has India earned in the last 50 years after freedom? Curruption, gangster politicians, hopeless beauracracy, shameful poverty. If you can do something for India, try and work on the betterment of these issues rather than pointing out at someone who is honestly trying to do something for our country. Patriotism is good, but its best at implementation than just raising slogans.

Secondly, comparing NR to BG and WB, OK. Again you are failed here. Even BG or WB set up their own trusts headed by themselves. Only mindless fellows will put the money in to the hands of politicians as donations. Btw, Who are you to talk about what NR had to do philanthopy wise? They do have a trust and they are doing it under his wife's leadership. Btw, what is your social responsibilty? throwing mud at others?? Man WB donated to bill and malinda gates foundation amount of money almost equivalent to what B&M gates foundation had. Also B&M gates foundation funda more projects in various countries (including India) in the feild of development of treatment for infectious disease. I am not sure how much Infosis donates. Anyways the whole argument is about Murthy not Infosis.

I think one need not be an expert to tell this. Again my opinion. Traditionally, north got more money power and south more brain power. Politicians in North are worse than South. Trust me. I worked in UP 12 years ago, when there was not much IT in india. Despite crores of rupees with people, the infrastructure used to be so bad. Point is it's more corrupted than many southern states. If that's what UP is i can imagine what BIHAR could be under Laloo..
