So are you gonna convert from Islam to Hinduism? I see that you have already changed your name..
I lost my father due to Parkinson's in 2005.It was a 5 year long loosing battle.Since it is a degenerative desiese & medical fraternity is still clueless even God cannot save you.We were showing him in AIIMS & later in VIMHANS tO the Head of Deptt & i have seen the helplessness & ignorence of our so called medical fraternity. In later years i was told it is probably Parkinson's plus where drugs also become ineffective. When allopathy fails dozons of alternate systems mushroom up & the beauty is that all make tall claims. However now after seeing it thru & experiencing it i firmly believe where modern medicine fails so do others but the only difference is allopathy accepts its limitations others start their course from there till the end.My father was a teetotalar, vegetarian & used to have only Daliya during lunch. He was also a fitness freak before onset of Parkinson's & used to look at least 10 yrs younger than his age.Untill age of 70 people refused to believe he was retired.Yes i do agree probably Parkinson may not happen to people who indulge into self gratifying & stimulating vices like smoking, drinking moderately & to people who socialise & party hard or people who can learn to remain happy always. However people with Parkinson's cannot remain happy & i am still cluless is it a cause or effect.

Hi Anupam. Yes it is indeed a very helpless situation. My father now 85 years is exactly passing through same experience. He is all through his life totally vegetarian and Non smoker, no alcohol. Constipation is another big concern, which comes along with Parkinson. He can not even enjoy good veg. food either.
This is the phenomenon which you will find in lazy persons as well.I would say they r partly suffering with PD. The lazy man does not want to wake up in the morning, wakes up,yes, but sleeps more longer, this is the classic example of body over mind phenomenon. Yoga, asanas & pranayam are the only medicines for PD.This is the country of spiritual persons, embrace it & make a difference in your own others lives. God give all PD patients the strength to overcome it. All the best.

Mr. Selokar, if you don't know and/or unwilling to learn the pathology of PD, please spare us from your ignorance.

Agreed that science is helping cure ailments. But the traditional systems like Yoga/Pranayama, Ayurveda are much better, less costlier, more disciplinary and rigorous and enhance the personality. Of course companies like Coke, Pepsi and Pfizer have to take to their heels. Who cares if these inhuman mischief mongers against Hindu culture perish ignominiously? Hatha Yoga is THE BEST FORM OF EXERCISE which our own people are denying. "One has to practice and then understand what is Yoga!" This Akshsya Thrithiya we should have a "samkalpa" that we will do Yoga and Pranayama and head Godward. Whether our God be Rama, Raphael or Rahim, it will help us in our endeavour
