In spite of all these so called economic reforms, selling all our lands for FDI, one thing is certain. INDIA IS COLLAPSING AS ONE NATION due to its politicians and people. All are to be blamed. I hardly can believe that we will remain 1 nation after 10 years and feel atleast the struggle would have started in many parts of India. VERY SAD.

Hinduism is the root of all evil in India. 1. It explicitly creates irrational hierarchy among Indians which is against Article 14. 2. Parents covertly train their children to coerce other children as per the above hierarchies. I deplore any other religion that does this.
I dont necessarily agree with what is happening. I don't agree to reservation based on religion. Despite being FC, i am okay with reservation based on castes. The perfect thing would be reservation by economic standard. I just wanted to say this:
Every party has good and bad points about it. Some more than others. The dravidian parties in TN has actually done well not only for TN but for India. They have brought TN to be one of the states with better socio economic indicators. They have done this without going communist. In fact, in most economic indicators, TN is in top 5 in India. People on here are comparing TN to Kerala on literacy, to another state for FDI, etc. But compare all at once, TN is in top 5. Not many other states can say that.
Secondly, it is because of the South, especially the dravidian parties that we have english so prominently in India hence giving us that great advantage in service industry around the world.
Thirdly, DMK and AIADMK have been voted back into power. This is despite what you say is bad politics. I am sure they are doing something right because unlike states like Bihar, they have achieved a lot.
Lastly, I am from UP. I would rather DMK run UP than the goons that have run UP since independence. If UP could be half of what TN is now, Indian economy would be better for it, due to the large population of my state.
Higher education, access to healthcare, etc, etc are great in TN unlike UP. However, reservation based on religion is wrong so the question is, would i rather be in a backward state like UP where there is no reservation for minority religion (which is great by the way) or be in TN which has reservation for minority religions but has given everyone a better standard of living than UP.
Please don't say that TN is only done well because people work harder there and not because of the government. People if given the opportunity will work hard in UP but the government policies are always bringing us down.

well said.. this is what i have been trying to say hundred times.. let us say well done to DMK/ADMK .. We have to be fair and proper.. Economic reservation alone is not enough.. reason is.. A SC/ST does not have the same support network as a FC person.. It is complex and hence looking at all features.. DMK has done well despite what some religious chavunists are saying.. Facts speak for themselves... Tamil Nadu has done on average better than other states... why cant people admit that..

Well that is going to boomerang on you - not on them. They are coming with a lot of superior skill sets and technologies that you will find it difficult to match. So be prepared for the worst - as you move your agendas through these goons. You will maximum end up in Government offices and these kids returning from abroad will be in MNC jobs. Do you think MNC' are going to accept such dealings? They would rather quit than have any sub-standard forces work for them.
We are generously offering a separate state/nation to upper caste/anti reservation people who are less than 10% of India. http://www.blogpoll.com/poll/view_Poll.php?type=java&poll_id=108166
This move will fetch him more votes. But this is not good for the country. I strongly feel every citizen shd be given equal rights. Education, Jobs, funds should be given to the public based on the merits and not on the caste. But at the end of the day, what a politician needs is Votes and K'Nidhi will get it by this gimmicks.

This laughing budda is a nut who has shut himself in because of his behavioural problems. So his computer is his only recreation. We should feel sorry for this retard & offer prayers in all temples !!!
He has said that the reservation for Xians/Muslims will be within the existing 69% - and is also subject to supreme court judgment where the 69% quota has been challenged. If SC strikes down 69% quota, the Xian/Muslim quota will be part of the 50% overall quota.
So MK is pitting the Xians/ Muslims against the OBC's in TN.
The so called FC's have already suffered the maximum, but this wont add to their sufferings as now OBCs will resent the communal quota and new wars may erupt between them. PMK/ Ramadas will be the first to raise noises that the new communal quota has to be over and above the existing 69%, or it should be scrapped. His vote bank being Vanniyars, he may n ot care much for Xian/Muslim sympathy and he is normally an outspoken person.
As such, the Hindu Munnani in TN draws support mainly from certain OBC groups and now communal clashes may erupt in TN as a result of the new quota fight between Xian/Muslims on the one side and OBC Hindus on the other.
