In the article "IITians in UP Poll Fray", the first line has a factual error: Che Guevara was not a Cuban. He was born an Argentinian and died in an encounter in Bolivia. He of course played an important role, in his maverick style, in the communist revolution in Cuba under the leadership of Fidel Castro in 1959, but that does not make Che a Cuban. He was an Argentinian.

Don't you have any sensibility or were born with the defect. How dare you write something like this .. And a clarification form you is it Article 14 (Equality before law) or Article 15(Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth) you wanted to refer???
The issue of reservation is more politically motivated then anything else %u2026 reservation should be given at economic level.
Its not just education alone can improve our political system but the actual commitment in the people who enter into politics. Kamaraj was uneducated but he had the commitment and still he is hailed as one of the greats. The only thing that can save our politics is the greater transparency into the assets and the deeds of those in politics. Actually each person in politics should have the details of assets in public domain with the advanced world of Web connectivity. Each important and high profile decision of the politician should be open for a public referendum. The other day M. Karunanidhi is reported to have declared reservation for muslims and christians. I don't really find any logic in it but for the vote bank logic. There are poor in the all religion and caste be it be brahmins, OBC, MBC,BC, SC or ST. Who is going to look into their well being. Till the politicians are answerable to their deeds only once in five years the system is never going to improve but we can only expect the worst.
BPD is a breakaway faction of Lok Paritran, and when they themselves are matured enough to sort out their own differences, how can they unite to good to the people.
IIT may be a brand name to corporates. But definitely not for politics.

Sir, Reserving power to the educated, means to the high caste, is undemocratic and smells fascism.See Lalu a low caste man has dramatically changed the Indian Railways. So indegenous solution from the PEOPLE are the point....again unrestricted democracy of the people by the people for the people only will to progress and prosperity and above all social justice.

why u are seeing cast while describing anyone, just see there work only and if works come people outside Bihar must be aware of Lulu's works what he does last 15th yr with Bihar.
1. It explicitly creates irrational hierarchy among Indians which is against Article 14. 2. Parents covertly train their children to coerce other children as per the above hierarchies. I deplore any other religion that does this.

so we should start one thing we must convert all hindu into another religion !!!! this will work and India will rise to Great height
' (i) Its not important whether they are from IIT or not. Whats important is whether they are honest and courageous. Ofcourse, the fact that they studied in IIT just indicates that they are educated and probably well-informed and they happen to be young, which is good.
(ii)To the select few who ridicule those abroad 'for not caring enough about India': WHAT IS IT THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR INDIA? Just physically sitting in India doesnt make you any more patriotic. Again, this is addressed to only those who undermine those who work abroad with the simplified assumption that only if you are physically in India, you aid in its growth.

Sir, The grandiosity of IITians are ridiculous. They want politics and power totally reserved to them only.It is nothing but modern Manuvad

Did you say they want politics reserved to them only? Doesn't make any sense, as they are not into politics to any significant degree. I understand you are for reservation, but i don't think its a relevant reply here.

If meritocracy is Manuvad, it will definitely succeed as it has, time and again. People who oppose should realise that they are mere hurdles that can possibly delay but can in no way stop progress. Hinduism is the only way of life in this world which does not impose restrictions on an individual's personal freedom. Over the ages, it has been enriched by Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and also movements such as Bhakti and Sufism. Non-Indian religions regardless of the fervour with which they are practiced are not suited to Indian conditions and have been foisted upon their practitioners either by force or with the aid of money unfairly appropriated from peaceful peoples by colonising military forces. Let us also realise that Hinduim is a way of life, not a religion. It is all embracing. It is not mere baptism that makes a true Christian but an honest adherence to the 10 commandments. Are Hindus prohibited from adhering to the same commandments? No. Is there any Hindu scripture that prohibits wearin a cross? No. Does any Hindu scripture say that it is mandatory to worship Hindu dieties? No. Is there any Hindu scripture that says it is a sin not to read the Gita but read the Quran or Bible instead? No. So embracing a different religion does not necesarily take away one's hindusm. Again, worship of Hindu dieties is only a measure that is suggested when one has one's own requirements which he/she would like to fulfil. The idea is pray only when you have a need and it is not a sin if you do not pray at other times. God will not be angry with you if you remember him/her only to fulfil your personal requirements. Is there a religion gives you this freedom? No.
Everything that is unacceptable about Hinduism is the result of misinterpretations which should be overlooked/eliminated and not emphasised or practiced.
This is the perception of Hinduism realised by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, Mahabali Akbar, Swami Vivekanand, Max Mueller, Gandhi and many other greats. Its practice in the pure form can be a truly satisfying experience
