Why is this strike? The politicians are big fools and they started this to do vote bank politics. Its waste of time and whatever Supreme Court said is correct. Instead of really finding who and how many OBC's are there in India, why to call for strike and waste time? These politicians and parties doesn%u2019t take India anywhere but to the old ages. Tamilnadu did a strike, does it changed any stance of Supreme Court? Then why AP is following the same like other fools did?

Rajasekhar, what better can you expect from these buggers? They're out to rape this country until the last vote is cast in their favour! It's such a shame that we have to be ruled by such idiots who have no qualms about causing such pain & suffering to millions of Indians and they call it in "Public Interest". What they don't want to accept is, the public doesn't want quotas and all the bullshit that they serve us with, all that they want is development! Absolute waste of time to talk about these idiots... we'll also become like them!
Isn't it a bad coincidence that the near unanimity that we see now is because of a very retrograde step! Oh these politicians suck and SUCK really bad!!!
Shantan & Rajasekhar, your concern about Bandh is agreed. However, what made you conclude that public doesn't want reservation? Are you & sekhar the public?
Since you have the power to express your opinions loud in forums & mails, doesn't mean your are in majority. Poor & backward don't get their voices heard and they always seem minority even though, I'm sure, more than 50% of our country is OBC or SC/ST.
Also, when you think reservation is not fair-play then ask yourself, whether it is fair-playing ground? Are you who educated in good convent and had multiple tuitions to clear your 12th std with *flying* colors equal to the poor rural student, who don't have proper access to books and education in Govt schools and also have to work for his daily food apart from schooling? Is it the *EQUALITY* you all ask for?
That student is economically & socially down-trodden because of the social inequalities existed in India for several centuries. When you great grand-daddy went to school in cycle, his great grand-dad was not allowed to walk in the town roads and were made to work only as janitors. This curse got passed on to him from generations.
This is just a course-correction and reservation is made to make level ground, not to snatch away oppurtunities from anyone. Think about it!

Prem Kumar, SC says that 1931 census data can't be taken into account for implementing reservations and that's why it has issued a stay. They never said not to implement them. No one talks about that and are out to conduct bandhs, effecting normal life and causing immense damage to the economy.
Don't you guys think SC has raised a valid point, if everyone stayed in the same backwardness category since 1931, what have the reservation policies since idependence achieved? If they failed to uplift people, then why to implement them.
Any level headed person would say that reservations should be given only to needy people and exclude creamy layer from the beneficiaries, so that the benefits would go to the needy.
But no one supports that idea, because majority of people who conduct these bandhs and do hulla gulla belong to creamy layer and they want to enjoy that benefit fro themselves and for their future generations at the expense of backward people in their own communities.
OBCs club themselves with SC & STs when they talk about reservations to put forward their point with greater force and garner larger support for their cause, but at other times they don't treat them as equals and are as worse as some of the FCs.
