Farooq Ali, I lived in Hyderabad and i know inside out story of Hyderabad. Do you know anything about communal riots in Hyderabad? If not learn about it then post your messages. The official count itself was 400 hindus were killed during communal riots in old city. It was in 1990. This fact every Hyderabadi hindu or a muslim knows. The recent travellers to Hyderabad do not know much about Hyderabad.

hello farooq bhai, i agree with u that hyderabadis are very tolerant n warm hearted people n it definitely is not gujarat where post godhra genocide was the handiwork of local govt. i am a delhiite n have many friends n relatives in hyderabad. hyderabad happens to be one of my most fav places. i never knew tht hyderabad is not a part of India. if it is then the city belongs to every Indian citizen n every citizen has a right to comment on it.
as for northies being communal, every individual is different. hyderabad was notorius for its communal clashes till early 90's. policemen posted in tht city considered it as punishment posting. things have changed a lot over there since then. its a very peaceful city now. easily among the best in India.

Murali, Every year tensions do happen in Hyderabad but not to the extent to what it used to happen till early 90s. But nowaways Hyderabad has become a hun for ISI activities. It is estimated that more than 25000 pakistanies and Bangladesis are staying in hyderabad illegally. If you see the terror attacks that roots are linked to Hyderabad. Example: IISc attack, Murder of Pandya (Gujarath minister).
Another sad fact is 65 yr old Arabs come here to marry young muslim girls under 14.

arabs will visit any city whr they can get brides aged 15 and below. the hyderabad count is much higher as it has a huge population of illiterate and conservative muslims. they sell their daughters to those shameless n immoral arabs for money n with a hope tht their daughter will be well taken care of by those arabs who are already nearing their natural death.
add to woes all those illegal entrants crating havoc in our country.
Reading the article, it seems there were a bunch of Muslim people who thought they were above the law, and could play loud speakers the way the wanted it.
I think the police did the right thing in arresting the offenders. Remember no one is above the law - may it be Hindu, Muslim and Christian. The laws of India must be obeyed when one is in India.
That fellow Nigam needs to be put behind bars for causing a riot.

I totally agree with you. Unless eveyone is treated equally in the eyes of laws then the accusation of minority appeasements and will go. India needs uniform civil code that treats every indian the same.

I will agree with u on this. if every religion is to be treated on par then uniform civil code is needed. nuisance is nuisance, no matter who causes it.

But if one muslim is killed all politicians spontaneously react to support him. In 1991 in Hyderabad more than 1000 hindus were killed and women were raped but it was not brought to light. A muslim police constable has killed a hindu ACP. later congress government declared that the muslim constable is mentally retarded and he was saved. That is the state of affairs in India.
those of us who have seen EMERGENCY during indra gandhis rule say that was RAM RAJYA.THE NATION FUNCTIONED SOMOOTHLY WITH ALL THE CRIMINAL ELEMENTS BEHIND BARS.
