Reading the article, it seems there were a bunch of Muslim people who thought they were above the law, and could play loud speakers the way the wanted it.
I think the police did the right thing in arresting the offenders. Remember no one is above the law - may it be Hindu, Muslim and Christian. The laws of India must be obeyed when one is in India.
That fellow Nigam needs to be put behind bars for causing a riot.
