the book u cite as well as ur article conceals the facts that:- _ a q khan was already convicted in a dutch court in 1983 _ attempts to extradite him to face sentence were frustrated by the CIA and th U.S. _ the case papers have since gone missing at the dutch court _The lady dutch judge who convicted a q khan (she has since retired) has indicated her suspicion that the CIA is responsible for the disappearance of the case papers .
All this was of course at a time when th CIA was creating a jehadi infrastructure in Pak and Afghan against the soviets and india.So who are the americans and the british trying to kid? that they are babes in the wood uninvolved in what was happening in their islamic banana republic under army rule.
Here in India, we know so much about Pakistan that nothing shocks us, nothing even makes us sit up and take special notice. Gordon Corera's revelations only strengthen our conviction that USA and UK have been extremely naïve or even stupid in their dealings with Pakistan. Why doesn't Corera investigate the possibility that 9/11 was plotted and planned in Pakistan, and that logistic and technical support was provided by Pakistan?
A Q Khan may be one of the Pakistina GODs,but definitely is a first grade scoundrel for the world.USA should have shot him three decades ago.Pakistan is also a scoundrel as a nation,encouraging torbulance in the peace promotion process,somehow USSA is remaing silent for the reasons well known to them.Perhaps Khan is doing all these to prpare the Muslim world to stand against the whole of world,exclusively against the USA and India.

Mr gopal,where was president kalam born,where were irfan pathan,sania mirza,abdul hamid(if u remember him he laid down his life against pakistan in 1965 war)born.Where were laloo prasad yadav,harshad mehta and others who are involved in various scams were born.the list is endless.So please just dont mention only those names who have brought shame to muslim community.
How can a single scientist orchestrate the sale of nuclear materials in exchange for ballistic missle technology from North Korea without any knowledge of the governing military establishment? Western writers keep comming up with the rogue scientist theory in order to shield Mr Musharaf. It is their belief that if you shout louder and longer, a lie can be sold as the truth.

Though some of the comments made here might be valid. But people of authority especially Army & G.O's still see a larger part of its population as aliens. Your reference "famatic Muslim Philosophy" is henious and indicates a venomous vision through which a particular sect is judged. Before passing weird views on a public domain plz try to keep the facts n figures intact. If A.Q Khan is trying to target INDIA and non-muslims as you say then who is credible for protecting us from it? Have any answer? I suppose not. But "I hope you know our honourable president". And may I ask you which city or state exists in INDIA without Muslim population? I wonder how could people of so low vision and understanding prevail at the positions which they boast of while writing absurd messages. or May be there is a nerd behind it all.
