The omen of the days to come ahead.
by chanakya on Nov 24, 2006 05:11 PM  Permalink

Neanderthaal's security had jammed the capital's communication system.

They had no business to do so.

And nobody objected.

Hu's men hauled two Indian dignitaries in their homeland .

they were earmarked to seat there.

Tomorrow they would order Sonia to dress as a Chinese and dance in front of HU ?

My foot !

The whole nation feels insulted by Hu's goonda.

Gujral miffed over seating
by labrea on Nov 24, 2006 03:15 AM  Permalink

The 'dissing' of Gujral is no merre accident, as nothing happens in Cong without Sonia G's 'permission' - just another example of the vindictiveness and arrogance of the Nehru dynasty and their acquiescing, kow-towing butt-licking sycophants.

bad taste
by Girish on Nov 23, 2006 10:29 PM  Permalink

It is an indicator of how things will be handled in the given state of affairs. I have never been impressed about IK Gujral but this is insulting to have our former PM being treated like that in our own country.
It seems this country is being run by hooligans and mannerless managers now.

Thats how we are?
by PUMA on Nov 23, 2006 09:48 AM  Permalink

Stupidity! How can we forget our own (former) Prime Minister. Following the protocols is a diehard thing. More than that is the respect, not only to him but also for being a leader of this great nation.

Thats how we are?

Pitfalls of Dynastic rule
by gajanan on Nov 23, 2006 05:08 AM  Permalink

Dynastic rule has its pitfalls. Narasimha Rao , former PM was not spared this , even at the time of his funeral. Now the living former PM , IK Gujral. The moral is. Both dead and alive have to face the music , when there is dynasties and psychopants ruling .

Then he may stay at home
by Vishal on Nov 22, 2006 11:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Well if Mr. Gujral did not like his seat location, that is fine. He did not do much to deserve becoming a PM. And after he did become one, there was not much he did either. So if someone has realised your current state in politics good for him. If you were of any consequence then you would have been given some respect at the onset. And a better seat. So now you know where you are. Unless ofcourse you went there in anticipation of the free food.

If there was a meeting of ex - prime minsters and Mr. Gujral got a bad seat, then yes, that woudl have been a big let down, but in the current world, Mr. Gujral is not that important. So be it. Maybe he should politely decline such invitations.

I agree- what did he do so great to change the country when he was PM? Atleast he should have had the humility to change his seat when the officials apologised-so much for a former PM!

Indian Council of Cultural Relations
by Rajesh on Nov 22, 2006 10:01 PM  Permalink

It\'s shame on part of Indian Council of Cultural Relations. They are all group of culture less people. I was wondering a person of IK Gujral stature was made to sit on second row. The government should abolish ICCR....
