Our great Mr Jetmalani has achieved everything in his days. I think now it is time for him to enjoy analysing the past rather than taking new contrvercial case

Ram J
by partha biswas on Nov 08, 2006 01:44 PM  Permalink

What the common persons dont understand is that the plea by Ram J is nothing but to put MENTAL pressure on the Judges, knowing that it will be Ram J who will instigate the media to "discover" herto unknown relationships, implied or otherwise. And also we have to keep in mind that Ram J is doing it for money, for if he is doing a charitable act, then it will be immediately announced to the press. And there are NO dearth of NGOs' who will take their own cut, media wise,in this matter. And NOT to forget that there are political under riders too!!! Manu Sharma belongs to an otherwise Congress fold, Ram J is from what I dont know excepting he is Sindhi by caste, creed or whatever, and ALL Sindhis are die-hard BJP followers,
because the ONLY know Sindhi is LK Advani.
No aspersions on anyone please, but the calculations in India are TOO complex to allow anything to go unmentioned.Lastly we must ALWAYS remember that Page Three is Page Three, and that is waht THIS case is all about. And our attention HAS to be diverted from Afzal Guru et al.I feel sorry for Jessica Lal and his family.I hope that other models of the likes of Jessica shuns to earn money by being a bar girl at a Page 3 party.

Ram Jethmalani and Gandhigiri
by Sushil Pugalia on Nov 07, 2006 03:52 PM  Permalink

His is the one of the worst case of mentally sick people. I do respect his right to fight the case of Manu Sharma in the court of law. But before that, he should have judged his client and his credential. He should have asked one question to himself - does this man (Manu Sharma) deserves his reputation? or will this man (MS) enhance or ruin his status in the society?

Eminent Lawyer Mr. Nani Palkhiwala stood by the side of Mrs Indira Gandhi when her election was set aside by Allahabad High Court. After he was able to get stay order from the court, Mrs. Gandhi imposed emergency on the country. Mr. Palkhiwala did not lost a second to resign from the post and never represented her in any court after that. For him, his reputation was more important than that of Indira Gandhi.

Mr. Ram Jethmalani needs good wishes from all of us to get out of his sickness. Let us play Gandhigiri on him.

Reject Ram's pleas

Good, the plea is rejected. A learned professional of the status of Mr Ram should not have raised the issue.

Jessicalal merder and Ram Jetmalani's role
by sbhujanga on Nov 07, 2006 03:31 PM  Permalink

Though in legal spirits an accused should be given right to defend by a competent councilor, the councillor who has failed in the cases of public interests but has always defended the the accused in the cases of notority puts the question mark on the credibity of defence. Just because in this case big fees is involved as the accused belonged to so called celebruty catagory the case defence is accepted by a jurist of celebrity status? Let Mr.Malani question to his soul which picking up such clients.
