It is no surprise that Congress is playing the dirty game of vote-bank politics, however, what is appalling is that Dr. Kalam, who is an educationist that stood for impartial quality and righteousness is tacitly supporting the quota system. Is he also blind to the fact that reservation is a superficial froth that doesnt redress the system weakness that lies at the primary education level? Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
...or just add to the problem? The situtation today is that "Am happy am from a SC or OBC. Am getting incentives, I am sure i'll get a job. I don't need to study hard, i know i'll get into some college. Life for my kids will be simple. Why the hell should i upgrade myself. Am happy this way. God bless Arjun Singh." I have seen many guys getting out from their chauffer driven cars and standing in a separate line meant for reserved castes (RC). Is it so that since you are from a RC, you can't study and stand on merit. The very basic fact you ask for reservations means that you are weak. Its like asking for a slap on your own face. Am seeing my country going to the dogs. Obviously with such kind of attitude i will look down upon candidates who have got admission through reservations.
Its high time, Brahmins and Forward community should press for separate land free of reservations for themselves.. We need "ISRAEL IN INDIA", For past 60 plus years since independence we have suffered enough, more than Jews of Holacaust. Enough is enough.
Wake up India, wake up!! The time is going very fast and before we perish under this UPA Govt. who sold this country to American and European powers under the leadership of Foreign Lady, Sonia and Foreign Ideologists Communists, we should counter this threat and start a new struggle nationwide. People of India, particularly middle class, downtrodden etc. should come forward and start a new movement in this entire Bharat so that a new organization / political party formed to counter the threat of UPA's castist Govt. and BJP's communal politics. If BJP is a communal party, then UPA and Congress is a castist party. Castisim is most danger than that of communal and we will have to counter the threat of both these forces and therefore, we once again request the people of India, millions of unemployed youths in India, poor people of all the casts and relgions in India to come forard and make a combined voice under a common umbrella and we are sure that if you all are coming under this new organization, next govt. will be ours who will form the Govt. for the entire progress of this country whose main motto will be economic indepdnence of entire people.
What is the percentage of the graduates coming out ofIIT and IIMs remain and serve in India. Will they take an oath that they would serve India for atleast 5 years after their graduation.Would they take an oath that they will not talk ill of Indian Culture when abroad? Why do they migrate to foreign countries? These questions may appear to be out of place. But they are very pertinent question. I would admire an OBC graduate who would serve India rather than brilliant felow who packs up to join a highly paid position abroad.Reservation is not based on the above consideration but only to gain a vote Bank
I will not use such strong title, but I want to make a few points. First some thing needs to be done to give"POOR" an opportunity if they show merit.Merit should remain the primary criteria as I read that Harvard and Johns Hopkins Univ. medical school's dean saying that "It is the students who make the reputation of medical schools"--our students are provided facilities but they learn themselves and become famous doctors. Now regarding uplifting of poor/backward classes--my father in law helped his driver's children go to school .They have done well in their life.So I think that Indian Govt.can do more to help educate the poor--like in USA where education upto 12th grade is free for students.Schools do not discriminate whether you are rich or poor.Every one has access. Dr. Satinder Mullick
India has been divided time again. Why do you think we have communal riots? Who benefits by them? Ofcourse the politicians!Yet,the poeple keep falling in their traps time & again. Wake up Indians & see through all this that is managed! In ancient Indian language the word "Dharma"meant the laws of nature. It had nothing to with any caste which is man made. Laws of nature are very equanimous.Nature itself is equanimous. If a person has maleria, its not Hindu maleria or Muslim maleria & then treated as per caste.Anywhere in this world, regardles of caste & cred, anyone who put his hand in fire, it burns. Fire doesn't recognise it as a Hindu hand or a Muslim hand.Thats the equanimity of Nature. We the so called "human" beings make this seperation.Yet,we have not risen above this.A massive awareness movement is required to make poeple understand this simple fact.
