Its high time that we all wake up against this scrap system before its too late. I salute the students and practitioners who are facing the police with brave heart. I also suggest other universities and engg colleges to also join hands. GO ON GUYS.
Let us consider a ideal situation where in few(SC/ST?OBC) students make it to admission to premier institutes (of course with the quota) what next , the big question is, R THEY CAPABLE of completing the course.(I suggest GOVT should come out with plans to skip few semesters for these students). We all have seen these peoples ability in the last 50 years when opportunity was given to them. Ist it time to demand for scrapping whole quota system instead.
The party which ruled(rather ruined) the country for 50 years has started its drama again. Not to blame our puppet(of course that sardar), who just dances to the tone of Madam. Who went one step ahead and suggested job quota in MNCs.(who says sardar doest have brain now?).Great to have this guy as PM.
What a shame, under the pretext of protecting the minority, the govt. is incrasing this gap. Value to Merit alone can help in the well-being of any country and its people.
I am Surprised by the Quota System....... First the OBC has reservations on the studies, they get all the edge over the General Merit candidates and now on the Jobs too... rediculous..
Give them all the concessions they need for the studies, get them well educated and then on the Job they need to prove their worth on par to gen Merit candidates NO CONCESIONS here.. or the Situations wil go to Dogs we will have Engineers, Doctors, lawyers,et all with no Merit and No proper Knowledge on the Job they handle. We will see more death due to wrong diagnosis 7 Treatments, More disasters on the Bridges and Buildings as they are done by less knowldgabel people.....
i strongly condemn the concept and the very idea of reservation as it has led to chaos in the minds of all the teenagers and youths of our country , wasting there precious time and energy which could have otherwise been used in better directions. why these politicians call doctors from other countries when they are criticaaly ill. recent example being late shri pramod mahajan ji... because they know that eversince this curse of resrvation has doomed our country it has only led to progressive deterioration of not only the medicos but also other important feilds. why dont these politicians contact doctors who have come from resrved seats for there own treatment ...why do they leave these licensed killers for the poor public...why???
Govt has been playing with future of india frm last few decade, jus to icrease their vote bank and some other bank accounts... Down the track of 5yrs frm now its my urnest request to citizens of india, that they should'n go for treatments in govt hospitals as it won b surprising that for a operation of kidney stone u r being asked for a ct scan and to meet doctor of neurology department or even u r asked for a open heart surgery for a fracure...i want this message to b read by as many people as possible so that india's future should b clearly viewd by each n every1....thank you
I think parents in the non reserved categories should start saving money to send their children abroad. As Mark Antony says in Shakespeare's Julius Caeser- "O Judgement, Thy Fled to brutish beasts, and people have lost their reason!"
This Government is trying to resurrect its Dalit+OBC+Minority votebank and it is dangerous for the country's unity---just don't get fooled by upliftment through reservations! I request all my fellow countrymen to oppose the reservation policy of GOI, ask for its review and get rid of this menace which prompts political parties to play fevourites with sections of citizenary to get votes! If at all there can be any critenria for reservations, it has to be only economic backwardness!Pls join all to save the country.
The real intention of Quota politics as used nearly by all political parties is for votebank purposes and keeping the people divided on caste lines.In no way such politics has helped integrating the society.
The real bacwardness is the economic backwardness and that runs across all sections of society. If any affirmative action is needed , it should be only be on economic basis. If so called OBCs are more econmically backward they will automatically get represntation through such affirmative action. This will stop division of society into various vote banks as sc/st,obc,minorities, forward class etc. and lead to integration.
Govt. should also provide low interest student loans for needy students and add additional colleges and seats for higher learning.
