Looks like Sharad pawar might be waiting like a vulture to decide how much percentage of money should go into his pockets if center announces a 1000cr pacage maybe 600-700crores might gointo sharad pawars and his cronies pockets.pawrs son-in-law will invest these money in some IT firms in Bangalore and enjoy a good dividend from this money after 3-4 years.
Politicians like pawar and arjun singh are a curse on our country who know only to loot and rule.
Shame on our rulers so much that they cant even protect the people who grow vegetables for us and who cant even guide these farmers properly by telling them which crop to grow and which not to grow.
Why are the Center and the State Governments wasting so much of our moneys? The Common Person is looted in many ways. Poor chap pays his taxes first, then the same are wastefully spent, or misappropriated, then the poor chaps money is spent again to identify where the waste has occurred. Suitable corrective measures are suggested and promptly forgotten. Thus matters stay as they were. What message is the Government now sending to the poor farmers of Vidarbha? Is it that Should they commit Suicide the Government will beat a path to their door with relief money? What deduction should the poor persons who are still bravely struggling against all odds draw, that they are better off committing Suicide? Shame Government!
It seems that we have two distinct sets of Governments in the Nation, one State, and the other Central. The former waits for the latter to do something, the latter first determines whether a friendly state government is in place, before taking suitable measures. As the late Rajiv Gandhi said, A very small fraction of Aid Money allocated actually reaches the affected populace. It is a shame indeed if none else, other than the Prime Minister, is considered trustworthy enough to faithfully hand over relief money to the beneficiaries.
It is good for the Government to be sensitive to the plight of the Economically weaker sections of the Society, as is the case for small farmers. However, with all its power and information in terms of access to data regarding cropping patterns, and yields, for the immediate past, as also the borrowing habits of the Poor People, it is a mystery why the Government is not able to predict the occurrence of hardship in terms of crop losses and inability to repay loans. What are all of the concerned Government Departments doing all this while?
