Dont worry, India will remain like this only. It will not develop rather politicians dont want the people of India to be more advanced since it will harm their own job.

Good article for one who has written or seen the Mother India in a negative angle.
1.The British ruled us. They came to Indian under disguise of business. How to believe the white? 2.They stole the Kohinoor why? We have to protect our monuments like Taj Mahal etc 3. India is a democratic country with love and affection 4. We never invaded any country for oil (US battle with Iraq) 5. We are modernising our electrical lines. We are still having overhead lines in rural areas. We to give priority to people's safety. 6.We hear President's having affairs with secretaries only in foreign countries. Never in India. Clinton case 7. Check France ranking in corruption with the International Agency which publishes ranking. Definitely it is not inside 10. Regards N Ganapathy Ram
Agreed. But in addition to listing the disadvantages in India,one should also point out ways how can these be overcome. And why only write about the disadvantages in India- why not write about some advantages as well! I have never seen anyone writing about the advantages in India which are not available in other countries. Can't we Indians not just stop vomplaining about things but also devise ways to correct them? If you can't do anything to improve the condition,then why complain about the existing one? Complaining does no good to anyone!
All your concerns are agreeable and true. Though most of them are not very serious problems their solutions is not with the governments but with the people of India. Now, we need to see how fast we can change them.
The points you have mentioned are simple different problems experienced by different kind of people in India and I feel there are more such problems in other developed countries too but may be on some other aspects. Such kind of an article is very childish to be published on rediff.com
I would like to say that there is discrmination in USA on white/black basis. So please do not say this happen in India. We always treat better than other country to outsider. So plz.
