Yeah!...apart for the fact that the white people are charged more...We have to understand 1 basic thing that every foriegner tourist will be charged a bit higher if he visits any developing foreign nation..
I am slightly surprised at the article. India is not a developed country but for people like me who work in Francophone Africa, India is really a developed country compared to the state of the Africans in French colonies. There are pathetic roads, buildings are terrible, if they dont belong to the French or the President.There is discrimination and racism to an alarming level. French have monopolized every business by paying out money and making uncivilized margins and are detesting the competition from Indian and Chinese. Even in Paris, I see French dont normally sit next to an Indian and we all saw how they booed the French footballer Vikash Dhorasoo when he was in field. As an NRI, I am supposed to pay exactly the same as a white man pays when I visit touristic places in India and I feel its high for India, but lower than many places in Europe. I pay Rs 750 to visit Taj Mahal and 20 Euros to visit Madame Tussaud's museum. SO whats the big deal? I think our French friend has not liked India like many others and its very clear from the article. Hope all French community dont take india by this article only. There more than things in India that I hate.One of them is Pride of Culture and loooking down the other cultures. Yesterday I read the message of Mr.Sudharshan, RSS chief.He says that the Western Culture is the root cause of all problems in India. If the westren culture is such a bad thing theen why our people flocking to the western nations for job? I have never heard any country boasting about their culture .It is only in India. I hate it.
...or even wrong!! it is human to look at negative things rather than seeing the brighter side of it. you have mentioned the things u hate about india. well i can tell u 10 things i despise about states, the uk, australia, china.... u name it and i can blame it! india is vast, so to pinpoint problems is easy. definitely, things need to be changed, but the change cannot come overnight. the youth today are more aware, than they were a decade age. the youth hold the weapon to change the scenario, the way others look at india. my country. last but not the least, i did something around 5 years ago and was made to stand in front of a lady judge. i reasoned with her that what i did was not wrong. in no manner was i wrong. she gave me that horrible look; fined me 500 Rs. This genuinely disgusted me. TODAY I NO LONGER LIVE IN INDIA, and thats because i felt where im not heard i had rather not stay. somehow sceptically even today i sing, Saare Jahan se Accha Hindustan Hamara.
please do not compare India with any other developed country. First of all Think about our population,Culture and then comment. Having these differances we cant compare our country with any other. I think you are frustrated deep within yourself that you can write an article like this about india. For you to know, each and every country and city you might have visited in your life will have some evils to boast about. On second thoughts, why don't u think that despite of all these (things you hate about india)...india has come up as a power much stronger than you expected. The land of elephants and cobras now talks about technology and brains........you need to come back in present sir....life has surpassed you 30 years back....GOOD MORNING
I contest with your statement for hating India, it is a shame that we are judging India on these points. If we critisize then we should also be aware that we too are responsible for such bad state as mentioned in the article. I do not intend to blame you folks but want to enlighten you.
