you have excellently pointed out your views how obc's should take the government benefits to compete with the rest of the society, I am sure you will find hardly 10 - 15 % takers in the obc's,but by giving lame excuses many will branding you as a consipirator by OC's for foiling reservations for OBC's.
The situation is our polititions have created an insane population who dont think anything other than their immediate benefits with a less or no efforts.
The day is not far you will find reservations on Religion basis then what will be the share of merit in the higher learnings, even if think of it also gives a shivering down your spinal cords of so called forward castes, what will happen to their childrens ,these children will start hating their parents for their forward lineage then what sort of society the government will want to do, they will be undefined full of frusturations, and many more .
How true - such an article that it tells the future just as it is to become. In an academic system where you barely have enough teachers worth ur time and where the only thing students thrive on is competition, we will soon have a nation backward intellectually.
the government seems to have become backward of late and they seem to be taking the nation there. Can someone do something to stop this apocalypse?
Everyone accepts it is wrong, but anything free is always welcome. I salute your feeling/opinion, and frank but true expression i.e DilKiAwaz. You are perfect to be a teacher, but be a preacher as you are doing now.

if you think every class is equally intelligent then why reservation??
Prof Gopinathan very well said..!! but i think your words "you will be a miserable misfit in the intellectually and socially elite IIT atmosphere" may not hold true because if the proposed reservations are started, they will continue for ages and this intellectually and socially elite IIT atmosphere will no more remain so. instead, it will also change to mediocre levels when the students are chosen on the basis of their caste in place of intellectual capabilities.
Dear Sir, you are no lees than Chanakya in wisdom. I am telling it with hole heart. Your message is the only one that makes our people unified. Why stop with reservations in education? Why not in Politics? Why not reserve the PM & the President's, the CMs, the Governor's Posts & 50% of the ministereal berths by amending the constitution?
