Can you please give me a single reason, why Babri Masjid should be there where it was???. I say I will built a Hindu Temple in the sacred place of Muslims at Mecca & Madina. How would you feel ???.
It is only in Hindustan that Hindus do not have the right to build a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. It is only in Hindustan that the minorities are treated more than equally. Go to Pakistan, Bangladesh wherein the minorities (read Hindus) are being cleansed off.
It is only in Hindustan that some Abu Azmi threatens the majority of grave consequences if the minority takes on the street.
There has to be a limit to minority appeasement.

Just I wanted to rectify you....the place, where the Babri Masjid stood, was really a place for Hindu Worship dates back to long time, when Islam had no existence. It dates back to at the least 1263 B.C. The shrine was well constructed, as you can hover on the materials of Dr. Reddy, who conducted a very well research on the historic events of facts of The Ramayana and The Mahabharata. A large chunk of things have been unearthed which very sufficiently proved the historicity of those events. Babar was very tired on his return from war and rested in that place. He offered sham namaaz in that worship place also and later converted it to a Mosque by changing its architecture entirely. The same thing happened in Banaras, where the temple was destroyed in portion to convert it into a mosque. A lot of injustice had been done to the Hindus during that time by the Sultani rulers. But, still they call us "brothers", and we should be thankful for that to them Isn't it? Even our Hindu sisters were brutally raped, murdered and chopped off their breasts during riots. How would u justify this? We should call ourselves Indians and human beings at first, share everything of us amongst ourselves.

Brilliant
Keep it up
I am sure you must have visited Salim Chisti Dargah at Ajmer
You show sufism
Let the younger generation of Muslims take Sufism and Tolerance associated with it
If Darah-Shikoh had become Mughal emperor we would have had a great country.Aunranzeb craeted militant Islam to Kill darah with help of fanatic Mullahs amd Moulavis-to become Emporar-His own elder brother!
Great loss to India of Muslim-Hindu sufism of Salim Chisti-Dra Shikoh universalism
Let people like you take up the suifi tradition into Indian Muslim House holds as all Muslims are not terrorists but Terrorists are Muslims-Most Unfortunate.Only Younger generation educated Muslims can spread the tolerance and universal Love for other religions with Sufism in younger Indian Muslims minda-Other wise there will be blood shed on streets which nobody want as all want good life for their next generation
Let younger generation Muslims stand against Mullas and Moulivis and definitely NOT against Islam-The Vice grip of Mullas and Moulivis on Indian Muslim Psyche has to be completely removed-As they do not know the absolute Koran but manufactured koran of earlier politically inclined money chasing Moulivis groups.etc ; etc;

Islamist Jihad
by Sushil Prasad on Aug 01, 2006 10:37 AM  Permalink

Why do you guys want to keep on decrying Islam by associating the activities of thugs to it.

I feel the media should have a little more sense. At least one person who is not a moron.

Pakistan: Epicentre of jihad
by Indian on Aug 01, 2006 10:33 AM  Permalink

Well said Sir,
You have rightly pointed out the main cause of this so called.....jihad, it is the internal fight which we as Indians have to win first against out politicians and then we might face the external jihad.

You Said it.........!
by Jayan on Aug 01, 2006 10:16 AM  Permalink

Excellent..! Hats off to you sir... You said it.. the umpteen politicians who never realise this could never take India in to a better position thought they are dreaming for developed country. The Relegious leaders should read this.. and our politicians, Honourable PM and President. Please forward this copy to all the ministers and beurocrats. let them realize.. the way in which they qre queing for pleacing some community which create all these problems.

We have to have a system above ministers or the politicians. an Independant system who decide when it comes especially to national security. they should not be tied up with these politians. thats y i said they must be above politians. with very qualified people, professionals. so that, when it comes to certain rule set by our politians they can interfere and cancel it. OUr poor system of politians handling everything or the power is been to given to politians is destroying this country. Later better than never Issue National ID to all indians (who has enough valid proof as they are really indians) and remove all those traitors and illegal immigrants from our soil.
Our democracy is just too much freedom.time has to change.

The new face of War
by An Aam Aadmi on Aug 01, 2006 10:00 AM  Permalink

The essay is notable in highlighting the changing face of the modern war.Gone are the days when large armies faced each other in remote battlefields.
The new face of war is clearly the destruction of the nation by targetting the scientific, intellectual, and economic assets. This war is fought by men who have the deepest access to the state's resources and having mastered the art of overcoming obstacles, are ruthless and single minded in securing their objective.
Mr Dhar's analysis is timely but who can wake up our somnolent leaders and the people charged with the responsibility of waging the struggle with these faceless enemies.
We need new weapons of all kinds, we need dedicated soldiers who can repay the enemy in the same language. Moreover, we need perceptive leaders who can comprehend the complex processes involved in fighting this war.
The doctrine of terror as an instrument of war is like a cancer, precisely because it converts our own citizens to destroy our own people.
It is necessary then to identify this "cancerous" tissue by innoculating the body politic appropriately. The suggestions of the author are timely.

wrong term
by poppyrich on Aug 01, 2006 01:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

while i agree with much of what you have to say, i take strong exception to your calling our politicians ballot box baboons. baboons are capable of planning and execution at their own level but their goal is always one that promotes the good of the group. indian politicians are not familiar with that concept at all, they are only interested in what they can grab for themselves. your words are therefore insulting to baboons.
