Dear friend, why waste precious space and words for telling something that every Indian comes to know as soon as he starts using his power of thought(!) In fact, we Indians have never been, are not being and will never be taken seriously. To the world, we are just a flock of sheep needing to be herded; a market to be eternally fleeced and taken advantage of for profits. The only thing that remains now is Hindu people like MU LIE AM Singh marrying off their kids with the kin of Muslims like IMAM SYED SHAHABUDDIN and becoming true trendsetters of COMMUNAL HARMONY. Doesn't anybody of you think so?
sir,it is nothing but the absence of spine to take decisions.not even in terrorism but in other areas too ,due to lack of firm steps ,country is not moving a single inch.
Mr. Shenoy seems unaware that every day Indian police kill people in fake encounters - and no one is punished for it. He seems to have a lot of faith in our law enforcement machinery when he believes that our police would not be exonerated. Perhaps then he can explain why hundreds of people are gunned down by the police every year and no one is ever held accountable. Get your facts straight, Shenoy- the problem here is not that police would be prosecuted but that they are never investigated at all!
Giving the police a free hand is equivalent to encouraging another form of terrorism. Shenoy should remember that these police that he trusts so much are the same corrupt, communal thugs who kill, extort and assault people year round. If they were so effective, the blasts would never have happened.
reading the comments posted at ur website my head hangs in shame.i wonder y my forefathers ever took part in indian freedom struggle.i shoud really congratulate the rss/modis and bukharis for bringing the society to such a prismatic view.how many of u remeber that of the 191 killed in mumbai blasts were indians first 170 hindus and 18 muslims next.there was a turbulent era post independence when all sikhs were considered terrorists.same is true of muslims today.hats of to the likes of tvr shenoy who conveniently forgets that mumbai police ran amock at bhiwandi and a week later were silent spectators to shiv sena s vandalism. on aug 10 i m sure plenty of same voices will rejoice at 93 blasts verdict but there will b some who still wait for srikrishna commision report to do justice.no one is a born terrorist.they r created when they realise that their conscience is lost in the howl of arrogance of others
What i do not understand is how can any self respecting indian find this article to be funny or in bad taste...
Mr. Shenoy.. you definitely have taken a bolder step to write without any censorship and also quoting the names..Your article is believe is what majority of us should think of..
i personally believe that gandhiji's doctrine of peace is not applicable today...
keep up the good work..looking forward to more articles from you.
I read you articles on a regular basis and have agreed on more than one point with you. What I do not agree upon is the fact that we make issues out of small statements from completely useless public persons. When we do this we indirectly make what they say important and let it affect us. Media as you may know is a powerful tool. We can use it for generating the same emotion of complete disregard to such pathetic statements but in the process highlight the fact that there are people who do good in all this chaos and that would help the young/old readers get more insight to the real issues we face. India is not looking for an identity in the new world. We have one. We want to be up with every so called developed nation and by giving any media attention to such Imams and any politician who has the IQ of a wooden block we just bring our image down a notch. We have enough great people to cite in our society. So it is my request that in you articles there be a more positives about us because we have winners and leaders, but by citing such irrelevant people (who are many in our country) we lose sight of what our country is and was and can be. Regards, Reader
.We should desist from indulging in academic exercises. No nation in the world will help another nation without a quid pro quo understanding. It is time to stand on our own feet and adopt a practical approach. The SiddhiVinayak temple has enlisted the help of the Mossad to counter terrorism. We should, follow their example. The terrorists are scared of the Mossad.Israel means business, when it comes to tackling terrorism. At the grassroots level, the LeT plant sleeper cells in dormant localities. After committing their nefarious deeds, they vanish. The Gateway bombers holed up in bustling Chimatpada, Marol. We do not bother to find out who our neighbor is. It is time to set up Small Citizen Cells (SCCs) in every area. The SCC will organize socio-religious get together among the area citizens. Cultural inter face will be encouraged. Thus here will be already made database of every citizen in the area. This will discourage the LeT from the seeding stage of their plot. Every religious organization has three streams: diehard fundamentalists, moderates, and futurists. It is for the moderates and futurists to rein in the fundamentalists. They should motivate the youth.
I would say that instead of playing a blame game between the muslims and hindus, we should stand together to fight against the politicians of this country, who for the sake of remaining in power indulge in mudslinging. Actually, we ourselves are responsible for electing such cowards as our leaders who are provoking people to kill each other negating the very fact of life. The infiltration of terrorists in our armed forces should be an eye opener for all of us. I like to request the whole breed of young politicians to take charge and come forward to improve the saging condition of our country.
Also, I humbly request all the Indian to stand together and should not let our neighbours to take advantage of us and play with the lifes of innocent peoples around us.
