They should have done this to Congress Bhavan.
by Ramesh on Jul 17, 2006 11:44 PM  Permalink

We would have been more than happy, had the explosions been done at a congress summit or congress bhavan. It is a long lasted sin of the congress party and if congressmen die in the process, the country loses nothing.

Action Commitment needed from Pakistan
by Amit Varshneya on Jul 17, 2006 08:25 AM  Permalink

I think whats more important is Action and Commitment needed from Government of India. If someone steals from an unlocked house, it is not the thief but the owner of the house who left it unlocked, that is to be blamed.
The Sept 11 attacks in the US happened 5 years ago. Nothing since then. Not because Al-Qaeda is not trying, but because the US has not given them the chance.
We cant blame Pakistan. We have ourselves to blame.

Learn from G8 nations
by Mukesh on Jul 17, 2006 08:04 AM  Permalink

Dear Dr. ManMohan Singh,

Its not the time to ask for help or request pakistan. Its time to react. Please learn how to protect one's country citizens from G8 nations.

If you cannot deal with it. I will tell u a way. Please remove all government security personnel working for politicians. Thats all,"No more terrorism in India".

Please learn how to defend ourselves. I think no muslim will support terrorism. They have their relatives or friends or themselves travelling in those ill fated trains. So,donot worry about vote banks.

If you can really bring a full stop to terrorism, you can be "modern Gandhi" to Indians. Please think from your heart not from a political point of view. Think once,if you were travelling in that train!

Action, commitment from Pak: PM
by titi on Jul 17, 2006 08:01 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Firm action, commitment is required from Govt. of India to deal with terrorists, terrorist sympathizers & terrorist nations. You must learn from Israel instead of joining IOC to criticise it.

Just please be noted that, OIC is only for the Islamic nations and India certainly is not permitted to take part in its agenda of activities. It is an organisation, created by the Islamic countries. In some views, India may be in sync with OIC, but whenever something happens that happens to be detrimental to India's interest, it must stand upto it. We need not appease OIC. We should not. Whatever happens in India, only can be solved by belligerent govt. like that of Israel. We should crush our enemies in order to live, lest the same thing happen again, as happen in case of Prthviraj Chauhan vs. Md. Ghori.

Commitment from Pak
by barakul on Jul 17, 2006 05:43 AM  Permalink

Bedore the PM demands firm commitment from PAK, he has to give a firm commitment to the Indian nation for stringent action against terrorists at home. We are sick of hearing the same old rhetoric every time the terrorists strike. Has any action ever been ever taken against terrorists even after they are caught? Look at the trial of 1993 bomb blast accused, or the systematic manner in which The Mah. Govt. has hounded out some police officers in the ATS; the simple fact is that no secularist Govt will ever find, far less punish, terrorists as they belong to the minority. And how can they do without the votes?

Biggest Wimp
by Sushobhit Gupt on Jul 17, 2006 03:03 AM  Permalink

Now we know why Manmohan Singh was chosen as the prime minister by congress. Not because of any of his skills but because he is the BIGGEST WIMP in the political circles who leave alone any action, is not even willing to use "harsh words"....

I am sure I dont need to remind you that US acts only to protect their interests. They are supporting Pakistan just to ensure that they can have an easy route to Afghanistan. One who controls Afghanistan, controls the mineral and oil rich Central Asian Countries.

USs new found love for India and their eagerness to provide us civilian nuclear technology isnt because they suddenly realized that India is an ally. Its just because they want to counter China in Asia. China is making life difficult for US and its allies using North Korea. In other words, US wants to use India as a shield in any future eventualities that they might have in Asia, at least in South Asia.

In this perspective, we are alone. We too need to demonstrate our abilities to protect our cities and citizens. A rouge regime like Pakistan, definitely pose a great danger to India, especially when they are armed with nuclear arsenal.
