It us an unfortunate development in the history of Our country and in particular of AIIMS.
Mr Ramadoss who holds a degree in medicine but is not competent enough in his filed thats why he never practised medicine. He just wants to establish his monopoly over AIIMS and a person of Dr Venugopal repute had to become victim of his personal ambition and aspiration.
An incapable person deciding the fate of a world renowned doctor. What an irony. He seems to be sick and needs to be sacked. Our honorable PM is worthless. He also has become a real politician of late who wants to hold to power despite so much failure.
I feel sorry for the present state of affair in our country.

just the way dr ramdoss do, dr venugopal also do, may be he is a good dr that d't mean he s an able administrator . an independent socially and culturally reputed team should preside over these whole affairs. the final victory should be for indias common people not for a few elite class !!!!!! dr abhishek, chennai
The health minister should think how the health-care facility with new technology should reach the remote area by cooperating &encouraging the doctors. He should give respect to Dr.venugopal, for whom our nation is very much proud.
I see no reason for an emminent and honest person of the stature of Dr. Venugopal to get hurt.Dr. Venugopal has remained and honest and upright person through out his career. Honest people of this democratic country should know that they can be sacked anytime irrespective of their service to the humanity. Politicians and berucratics of this great democracy expect their share of the booty, he who is not in a position to satisfy their hunger are destined to see themselves kicked out or alternatively got involved in one case or the other on any pretext no matter how shameful and filmsy it may be. Ramdoss is no exeption ,he has only followed the foot steps of his seniors, who have been slaughtering the honesty without any shame or fear as they know that the people of this country are brain dead and sensedead who do not remember the missdoings and such acts of the dirty and corrupt politicians at the time of elections. In fact the harder they are hit, the more docile they prove themselves to be.As long as the people of India do not come to the real senses, such people are going to call the shots.JAGO INDANS JAGO FOR THE SAKE OF UR COUNTRY others wise your very existence will be in danger
A person works for his life and then u treat hm like dirt. This is India. person of Dr Venugopal's staure could have emigrsted to any country (if he had wished) but he chose to serve the people of nation. And what has he got in return. i think now people of India shd. support him in his endeavor and get the minister removed from his post and show that democracy works. otherwise we are just becoming a banana republic where politicians only rule the roost
A reputed institute like AIIIMS is losing glory because of Quota Raj.It will be not a surprise when all (most of the patients) may be killed in the hands of inefficient persons educated under quota system
dear sir, we back in tamilnnadu know about ramadass and this cronies. these people are a shame for both tamilnadu and the entire nation. both father and son know only how to make money and they know nothing else. they have alreaady ruined parts of tamilnadu and now they are trying to ruin AIIMS. both these guys dont know anything about medical proffesion. already they are losing their support base in tamilnadu and will soon be wiped our from the political picture as well, suresh
Dr. Venugopal himself is quite an arrogant person. He has been disrespectful towards his peers. A number of senior doctors at AIIMS, such as the head of their nephrology department left AIIMS for private hospitals because of the high handed and dictatorial attitude of Dr. Venugopal. But I'll not take anything away from him. He is indeed a great surgeon, one of the best in the world. He performed India's first heart transplant since brain death was legalised. He is quite a down to earth person who disdains publicity. Along with Dr. K M Cherian at Frontier Lifeline, Chennai, Dr. Venugopal kind of symbolizes India's cardiac surgery practice. In comparison, many others are mere plumbers. He practically lived his entire life for AIIMS. No matter how arrogant or high headed he was, he didn't deserve this treatment from the government.
BEGINNING OF DISASTER !This starts the beginning of the QUOTA RAJ EFFECT!Many more issues will happen ,where the Government would interfere and remove highly educated intelluctuals from top posts and major institutions like AIIMS,IIMs,IITs will be effected.PM,When are you going to remove the top guys of IIMs and IITs?
