I have complete faith in Lord Ayyappa. If it is a blunder then he will punish the person. If its not blunder and that is "dharma" in this yuga...nothing might happen. Whatever happens should be endured in this age. Let us not worry about whether its a sin or not. Whether she went inside or not. Whether she touched the idol or not. Whether she tells the truth or not.
As far as i am concerned we should not be questioning the cult and the rituals that has been there for ages.
Please remember that all whoever are talking about "rules", "devotion", "respects" etc. etc. are all mothered by some or the other woman. Before talking about anything to do with women, please remember that our mothers had given birth to us between their age 10 to 50. In my opinion, women at that age group are to be respected by even the God. If anyone has to be banned from seeing the God, it should be these people who are making so much of noise. I don't have anything for or against to the actress or whoever, but my sincere request is: __please__ add some sense, some reason to religion, Trust me, that will make our religion much more popular to the world.
If any one goes to sabrimala temple will not believe her story. It is impossible to touch god ayyappa because of the distance between the devotees and ayyappa pratishta
I have been as a pilgrim to Sabarimala around 7 times. The diety is atleast 4 feet away from the door/entrance of karpagraha. In general there is a obstruction created with steel pipes atleast 4 feet from the entrance and hence 8 feet to the deity. Assuming that what she says is TRUE- she has visitied sabarimala temple and also assuming that she was allowed as a VIP and hence to go directly near the door/entrance. IT is 100% lie that "she was pushed and Jostled" to dislocate such a long distance...?!!!
God knows the truth.
If she is a ardent devotee of Iyyappan then howcome she was not conservant about the restrictions of temple.
God save this land from celebrities. They advertise themselves by inviting controversies.
I firmly believe in GOD not pertaining to a particular religion. If she is lying then SHE WILL GET PUNISHMENT IN REAL LIFE.
Sabarimala Ayyapan was proposed to by Malikapurathamma ( the devi sitting in the temple on the way to Sabarimala ) What Ayyappan told her was he will marry her in the year when no Kanni Ayyappan ( Ayyappans who come in Sabarimala for the first time ) has visited the year. Till then the Sabarimala Ayyappan will be a brahmachari.
The Saramkuthi is a place where all new ayyappans will mark that they are Kanni Ayyappans to Malikapurathamma. So that she can know if any new ones are there or not.
This is the common belief about Sabarimala Ayyappan. Ayyappan might be in the form of married in other places. But in Sabarimala this is the belief. So if anyone who visits there with belief should oblige to the rules put by the Temple Committee. Its only after Ayyappan said this in Deveprasnam, the comittee put this rule up.
So consider this as a part of belief and rituals - not something against women as such.
Whether the actress entered the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple or not, the rule which denies women having darshan of the Diety is nonsense. Because of some 'rules' created by some selfish individuals barring some castes/creeds, the whole Hindu religion got a bad name. Everyone (esp. Hindus) should be allowed to visit any temple (including Sabarimala), only restrictions should be on observance of bodily cleanliness and cleanliness of the temple environment, prohibition of non-veg. food inside and near temple compound, respect for the temples, prohibition of animal/bird 'sacrifice', etc.

You are talking like a stupid.
You being a woman, can you undertake 41 days vrat as specified? No, because in between your menstual cycle will intervenue. Devotees have to observe strict vrat for 41 days and they should have Irumudi (2 sacks) on their head to climb the 18 holy steps. You can have the Irumudi, but you cannot undertake the vrat, being a lady. All other Ayyappa temples ladies are permitted. You are making noise without understanding the reason for such a bar! Stupid on you, even after bieng a Hindu you think in such terms.
CErtain places have certain code of conducts for entry. In some clubs, you cannot enter wearing a dhoti. YOu have to be on pant with neck tie. Likewise, these are the protocol. If you are believer, observe it, otherwise just keep off!
