I think the solution is that women should create their own god (female perhaps..), build a temple for him/her, and ban all men, fertile or not, from entering the temple.. after all, arent all gods mere human creations... Welcome to the 21st century people !!!

Dear Viviek,
For your kind information there is a temple in Trivandrum, Kerala called Attukal Baghavathy temple which is considered as "Womens' Sabarimala" Where men are not allowed. Women make Pongal (a sweet dish) and offer it to the Devi, the presiding deity there.
And no man seeks their "RIGHT" in these temples.
I request all these members to respect these traditions. If you guys are hell bent to change sometings then go and try to abolish the barbaric practice of sacrificing animals to "PLEASE" Gods in temples and on Ramzaan.
Restrictions to women in the temples, especially in the sanctum sanctorum do have certain strong scientific reasons behind, besides spiritual significance! No one can dispute about the fact that ONLY women have menses for few days every month when they bleed from their private parts! I suppose men don't have menses! Even when urine is passed, it needs to be cleaned by a wash with soap etc., Well, if they don't, apart from its internal stink, it is totally unhygienic even to remain at home that might lead to spread of some diseases! Further, such periods vary from woman to woman totally depending upon their respective constitutions of the body. Range of age was thus safely fixed to avoid such women with menses from 10 yrs to 60 yrs! In general, unmarried bachelors are kept away from such information of women in menses. Thus, the concept was extended to bachelor Gods too as sanctum sanctorums of any God are very auspicious and certainly that of bachelor Gods too! It is relevant in health point of view too considering general conditions of hygiene! Perhaps, women in that age group should be kept away from sanctum santorums of all Gods! Perhaps, those who oppose such restrictions are enlightened now!
Women should be permitted to enter all places of worship. In Sabarimala , pre-puberty girls and post menopause women are allowed.
Why aren't any women- permitted to enter most of the mosques during the regular worship time? In some mosques they are allowed to enter only through a side door .Why this sexual discrimination?
I read lots of comments on Sabarimala, questioning the ban on Women. I purposefully avoided putting Sabarimala in the subject line, as that did not really seem the issue here.
In Kerala, no human being enters any temple without taking bath. I feel that this should be the case in any temple, where ever it is. Unfortunately it is not so in many other states. I dont know what 21st generation have to say. I wont be surprised if they demand to abolish the very idea of taking bath.
In Kerala, no menstruating women enters any temple that week. Note, this is not just one temple, but ANY temple. Hinduism consider's menstruating women as impure. Only pure priests touch idols. As God do not like the company of impure people.
Any one visiting Sabarimala, should take 41 days of "vratha". to gain enough purity to visit the place. Women between 10 & 50 cant remain pure for more than 28 days, and hence the ban.
In other states, women do visit temples during their periods. That is typically why the people outside Kerala, fail to realize the importance of productive women staying away from Sabarimala.
Those who do not understand this are just pretending dumpheads.
This sudden surge of Chauvinism is completely misplaced. Sabrimala is a place of celibacy of a male God. This is a small space which a celibate male God deserves to own in the huge pantheon of Indian Gods and Goddesses. Women Shakti is not at the cost of Male penance. These are two different entities. A request to let women enter the temple at sabrimala is like a request to give access to men folks to womens changing room under the garb of equality.
Please stop this nonsense immediately. You have no crisis of TRPs like CNN-IBN.
Easy to do wrong and then divide the country by starting the men-women divide!Grow up!If this is the case which our stupid journalists want to highlight then please answer--- aren't Christians, Muslims, etc., also human beings? Then why not allow them also into these temples. Why not Hindus be also allowed to enter the mosques and pray there?Leave men-women,why all the religious bar also.Jayamala is an actress but that is not enough to go to heaven. If at all she entered the temple its due to her and some stupid men like her, who forgot God and rules upon seeing her. Everything has a purpose.Dont make irrational comments.
It's quite unfortunate that Sabariamla temple, abode of Lord Ayyappa, has been dragged into controversies.Instead of trying to come out of the controversies and keep up the sanctity and decorum of the famous shrine, feminists are addig fuel to the fire.If they dont want to respect the traditional practices,no body is compelling.but why to disturb? once again, these feminists are showing their true nature of unsupportiveness to common and practical facts.
