If women are not allowed to visit sabrimala temple,why did she go there,if any one do not like us today,we do not like them yestarday.That should be our attitude.It give us peace to our mind.More than that,this is not at all a topic to discuss.Every one should understand that, if she goes to a Church no one will stop her.
You people are so stupid to believe in all the religions and their various Gods created by men to dominate over your ilk. In this scientific age, you go out of the way to worship some stupid statue that represents a purported male chauvinist. And then you bitch when traditions don't allow you to enter some temples. If you want to selectively abandon traditions that are against you, saying these are old fashioned and "should change with the times". Well, if you indeed want to change with the times, go the whole way and abandon religion in its entirety. No, you won't - you will be the first ones to teach your kids to start praying to some stupid idols or some Gods, all of which have no basis and completely defy rational behaviour. So in a way, you completely deserve what you get.
No one should forget that this is kaliyuga. Here people start arguing and putting forth different 'scientific' reasons for telling that all can end up in the "garbha gudi" (where the LORD's idol is) and worshipping GOD. I will predict what might happen in years to come. India will be americanized and all people including criminals, politicians, corrupt people, persons who committed great sins, unclean people, prostitutes, murderers, will put forth arguments as to they also have a 'right' to touch the idol of the LORD. And all this argument they will do just to prove that they are as 'pure at heart & soul' as others, which they obviously will not be. And people will start scolding the LORD AYYAPPA himself for distancing himself from women and remaining BRAHMACHARI. Their souls will become corrupt and they will stop seeing the true reasoning behind the great traditions of our vedic culture. All this will happen in kaliyuga, LORD himself has told all this in detail in vedas and puranas. So my advice to all of those who are arguing against jayamala, please do your work and keep faith in LORD and let these idiots argue to hell. They will get nowhere, LORD is seeing them from above.

Hello Mr. Dreamer. Can you tell me a Yug when we did not have the so called Papi's. We had Father of Bhakt Prahald (I forgot his name), Ravana, Kansa, Duryodhana in all the Yugas. So dont worry if its Kaliyug now. We had theifs, rapists, murderers, prositutes in all your so called 4 Yuga. If you dont believe me, read the basic texts of our religion. Just purify your heart & you will be in Satyug instantly. If you do not then you will remain in Kalyuga always. And basically the idols are created for criminals, politicians, corrupt people, persons who committed great sins, unclean people, prostitutes & murderers. Good people (sants) do not require idols for worshipping. Where ever they go, they carry God along with them. So dont worry if women gets in Sabrimala. You just worry about cleaning & purifying your heart. You will be in Satyug!!!!
If women after attaining puberty and before menopause are considered to be ones for whom the temple is out of bounds, supposedly because Ayyappa stands for Brahmacharya, how come men who have intercourse with women are not barred? Are Brahmachari men supposed to marry or have sex (Marriage is not a constraint to have sex, you see.)?
I was surprised that the temple priest's son talking about how Jayamala has defiled the temple. When the priest of the temple can have a child (is it scientifically possible for a Brahmachari to have a kid?!!) how can the temple God stand for Brahmacharya?
And I haven't even discussed as to whether Brahmacharya is any virtue to begin with.
Can anyone tell who has got this practise that women should not enter Ayyappa temple. I am sure it is not Lord Ayyappa. There are so many Ayyappa statues in any temples, There you see women Visiting. Then the rule is applicable for that also.
The rules are developed by our own people. It is not the god saying that women should not enter the temple. Initially temple was situated in forest area and there were no developments and no proper access to reach the place. So it was not suitable for women to travel. I personally feel this can be the only reason why women were asked not to travel. Hope women's are also allowed from now onwards to have darshan of Lord Ayyappa in the temple. Apart from that Panicker unnikrishnan statement , that lord ayyappa is angry is a absolutely a publicity stunt.
God is appearing in the form of diety in this age for the souls to get purified. Seeing, touching, hearing , all these are devotional process make jiva soul get purified and elevated ..
I read almost all the messages that is posted here. Someone is supporting Jayamala, and some one is not. And all are writing their own ideas. But no one wrote about the reason for debarring women from entering Sabarimala. Lord Ayyappa was a small child when he over powered a beast.Pandalam Raja became happy and after seeing another set of magical powers (ayyapa killed powerful demon, Mahishi) that the child possess, he understood that this is not an ordinary child. So he wanted to make a temple of him. Ayyappa himself poited out Sabarimala since it was sorrounded by 18 mountains (thats why 18 footstep to Sabarimala) and he could live there peacefuly. He was a bachelor and he heated to marry anyone. But "Mailkapurathamma" (goddess in sabarimala) fell in love with him and aksed to marry her. After a lot of attempts, Ayyappan told her that he will marry her on that year when no new devottees come and meet him. But that has never happened. So she is still waiting. Thats why no young woman are allowed to see him.
This is our beleif in that. So why woman want to go to Sabarimala. If Lord Ayyapa is our beleif,

Women are te most revered among god's creation as the creator itself/ HIMSELF has given birth to te entire universe from its/ HIS womb(vide.Gita).lord Ayyappa himself is said tobe born of a woman only. for tis vwery purpose Vishnu himself has assumed the form of a woman.It isfor te sake of woan , that te Lord went up the hill into the forest to fetch tigers for milking.no body can cite an authority from the Vedas or Agamas to prohibit woman from etering any temple or performing any pooja or worshipping the God. Even it wouldbe unconstitutional to deny entry to any woman into any public temple , even if there as been a rule approved by any government hadbeen in place for any number of years.OK,then why this controvercy? there is reason. Woman are not really barred from entry in to the temple . Onlyfemales in the age group of 10- 50 are barred. Why? Do te agamas prescribe it? No . But then is it right . would u question - why should only women be asked to have a mungalsutra? why not men? OR why join the two hands and not the two legs while praying? ....or simply why leave footware is to be left out while moving into a temple why not our clothes tooo.... When certain beliefs are followed by a major set of people lest try not to question that. if u have any radical thoughts better move out of it. Ayyappa is worshipped by men and those men live in extreme bachelor life in those days and there is a simple rule regarding women so be it.
The actress is totally telling something false: I am a keralite and only a keralite can no the santity and the pureness of the temples in kerala. THere are certain things w,r.t to Kerala which are quite odd to all other states in India: for eg: NO girls can enter any temple in Kerala Wearing Chudithar or pants or stupid jeans: they have to wear Saree or the tradidtional dress of Kerala... all men have to wear dhoti and NO SHIRTS... EVEN rajiv Gandhi was not allowd to enter the Guruvayur temple as he was wearing Kurta... who is this stupid lady... ?? even if tommorrow some lady claims that some lady went inside the guruvayur temple wearing pant, then we know its not possible.. and what stupidity she is taking. If the Kannada actress has entered Sabrimala temple, when she is 20yrs old... she has did a huge mistake.. by spoiling the purity of the place... we are not against any one / sex entering /praying a god ... but if there is a tradition respect.. there is place called melmarvathur in Tamil Nadu where women are the most important and all men respect the same...y do u want get such cheap media status with god...
