Why woman is not allowed in Sabarimala.....

Hi All,

I read almost all the messages that is posted here. Someone is supporting Jayamala, and some one is
not. And all are writing their own ideas. But no one wrote about the reason for debarring women from entering Sabarimala.
Lord Ayyappa was a small child when he over powered a beast.Pandalam Raja became happy and after
seeing another set of magical powers (ayyapa killed powerful demon, Mahishi) that the child
possess, he understood that this is not an ordinary child. So he wanted to make a temple of him.
Ayyappa himself poited out Sabarimala since it was sorrounded by 18 mountains (thats why 18
footstep to Sabarimala) and he could live there peacefuly. He was a bachelor and he heated to
marry anyone. But "Mailkapurathamma" (goddess in sabarimala) fell in love with him and aksed to marry her. After a lot of attempts, Ayyappan told her that he will marry her on that year when no new devottees come and meet him. But that has never happened. So she is still waiting. Thats why no young woman are allowed to see him.

This is our beleif in that. So why woman want to go to Sabarimala. If Lord Ayyapa is our beleif,
